…and that’s how it goes
It’s a nice way to finish up a sentence
I remembered just now, I say, “and that sort of situation”. My go-to word for things is now “situation”. Whatever it is, it’s a situation XD

I’m wondering if this is aimed at pets I feel like I’ve heard a lot of people use this toward their pets
Everything is a situation! I like that, too.
Topic: This is a thought about YouTube for me
@Qualeshia12 made me think about my own channel
I started a YouTube channel to react to writing advice articles like heck because no one else is doing it. I can’t find any, anyway. Idk if people like it, but I hope they find it helpful.
I had the thought, how long will I continue this?
Until the love runs out (OneRepublic song, Love Runs Out. I love that song.)
The good advice is often on the minor websites, because the bigger places do quantity over quality. I have my work cut out for me It’s so nice to find minor websites that I can go back to for my own writing.
Also, definitely want to do writing-related deep dives. There are ZERO on YouTube as far as I can tell. Deep dives take time, but they are worth it. I love going down rabbit holes already, anyway
Topic: What is a random fact you recently learned?
The Kentucky Derby in Churchill Down is the biggest derby and it started in 1875.
That’s a coincidink–I recently read Hunter Thompson’s essay on it, probably on the day of the race a couple weeks ago, but the only thing I learned was that he really was as depraved as they say. Oh! I also learned that Goodreads has it listed as a book, so I was able to apply it toward my 2025 Goodreads Challenge. So now I’ve read 71 out of 100 books for the year. Huzzah! ٩(˘◡˘)۶
One other thing, I suppose. I also learned that Peabody and Sherman’s account of the history of Churchill Downs was notably false. Oh, the horror! (⊙.⊙(-̶●̃ₒ●̶̃)⊙.⊙)
Roger Craig Smith (voices Ezio, Sonic the Hedgehog, plus many others) has been the narrator for Say Yes to the Dress for a long time (since 2007)
As a bonus fact, peccaries are animals that look like pigs, but are actually in a different family!
(Peccaries are in the Tayassuidae family; pigs, boars, and warthogs are in Suidae)
I haven’t gone that deep, so idk anything about that stuff XD Just basic history from a documentary made in 1994 and a little bit about the triple crown and then watched a separate doc on Seabiscuit, because I knew about him from the Porky Pig cartoon.
But wow, what a coinkidink XD (who knows how to spell that lol)
Sounds like you could make your goal before the end of the year
huh, maybe that’s why the business insider video on the race came up in my recommends. I watch business insider already, so things probably just matched up
I heard it started in 1875 and thought, hey, I could use it as inspiration for my story
Thought it would be fun to have two characters mention derby day. Not any particular derby though.
