~ ***** a fox chat ***** ~ [Now: Favorite bread spread? Let's get hungry]

Haven’t tried those, but they sound tasty! (especially fig jam and the honey + butter toast combo)

Peanut or almond butter go great on toast! I also love hummus, strawberry jam as spreads, and cream cheese as spreads.

That reminds me, I tried marshmallow fluff once. It was good but really sweet

Are meat patties considered as bread spread? If you can paste it on with a knife and it has a creamy or liquidy substance, yes, maybe. But I don’t think meat is like that. I would be worried if it was like that and not pate :stuck_out_tongue:

I realized my post sounded like I like crunchy peanut butter, but I actually prefer no crunch, so we’re opposite there  Tell me, what is it about crunchy peanut butter that you like?

oooooh! I love raspberry jam but I rarely see it and when I do, so expensive! Tastes so good on warm toast with butter though

I hear about marmite here and there. What exactly is it? What does it taste like?

Sprinkles? :open_mouth: On bread? Never heard that one before… You mean the colorful sprinkles often found on ice cream, right? Just making sure we’re thinking of the same thing.

Garlic oil on naan sounds delicious :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I love naan, but I’ve only had it two ways: with butter and with cheese.

What is that, lol XD I’ve never seen that meme before

That might be…
red bean paste?

Bean paste isn’t my favorite thing, but this red bean paste with butter is popular in Japan.

In Venezuela they mix mayo and ketchup together to create pink sauce.

Yup! That’s why it goes so well with peanut butter. There’s nothing better than a fluffernutter sandwich! The nuttiness of the peanuts offsets the uber-sweetness of the marshmallow. (ღ˘ᴗ˘ღ)

Actually I love that combination. Not on toast, but french fries or burgers. Ketchup and mayo, or barbecue sauce and mayo :yum:
