Haven’t tried those, but they sound tasty! (especially fig jam and the honey + butter toast combo)

Peanut or almond butter go great on toast! I also love hummus, strawberry jam as spreads, and cream cheese as spreads.

That reminds me, I tried marshmallow fluff once. It was good but really sweet

Are meat patties considered as bread spread? If you can paste it on with a knife and it has a creamy or liquidy substance, yes, maybe. But I don’t think meat is like that. I would be worried if it was like that and not pate :stuck_out_tongue:

I realized my post sounded like I like crunchy peanut butter, but I actually prefer no crunch, so we’re opposite there  Tell me, what is it about crunchy peanut butter that you like?

oooooh! I love raspberry jam but I rarely see it and when I do, so expensive! Tastes so good on warm toast with butter though

I hear about marmite here and there. What exactly is it? What does it taste like?

Sprinkles? :open_mouth: On bread? Never heard that one before… You mean the colorful sprinkles often found on ice cream, right? Just making sure we’re thinking of the same thing.

Garlic oil on naan sounds delicious :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I love naan, but I’ve only had it two ways: with butter and with cheese.

What is that, lol XD I’ve never seen that meme before

That might be…
red bean paste?

Bean paste isn’t my favorite thing, but this red bean paste with butter is popular in Japan.

In Venezuela they mix mayo and ketchup together to create pink sauce.

Yup! That’s why it goes so well with peanut butter. There’s nothing better than a fluffernutter sandwich! The nuttiness of the peanuts offsets the uber-sweetness of the marshmallow. (ღ˘ᴗ˘ღ)

Actually I love that combination. Not on toast, but french fries or burgers. Ketchup and mayo, or barbecue sauce and mayo :yum:

I’ve never tried that combination! It sounds so good :yum:

They also do that in my house.

Mixing sriracha sauce and mayo is also a good sauce for burgers/fries too.

Or my grandma used to be really ghetto and mix red sauce and brown sauce and call it BBQ when she didn’t have any BBQ when I was young. It was a pretty crap knockoff, but it did the trick mostly.

Wait really? Is fairy bread not a thing outside Australia?

100s & 1000s. I don’t eat ice cream but am pretty sure they’re the same thing :joy:

Ooooo that’s also a good way to have it

Topic: What is your catchphrase?

Okay, I was going ask a totally different question, but that came out of nowhere XD

Do you have one? I can’t think if I have one…

Do your characters have one??

Do you have a favorite catchphrase from movies or anime or books?

Eh… * munchy crunchy * what’s up Doc?

I don’t think I have one. Can’t think of any I like from tv or books either. But I’ve been experimenting with various catch phrases for my characters since there’s a large cast and I want them to be identifiable without having to say So-and-So said every time they speak. These phrases have to sound like something someone might say during the Georgian era, so they’re currently saying things like deuced dunderheads and blithering blatherskites until I find something better. Should I quote Getter Robo or not…?

i have been saying “that’s how it goes” way too much recently lol

my characters don’t have catchphrases because I haven’t yet thought about it, but I might do it eventually–we’ll see.

I say “oh yeah?” a lot-

also “excuse me, sir”, and “what the flip”

A lot of my characters in a lot of my stories have catchphrases too-

As for characters from things like shows, two characters from MLP

Pinkie Pie: “Okie dokie, loki”

Applejack: “Great galloping galoshes” and “woah Nellie!”

I like these though XD
