Umm I don’t have to-do lists. Are calendars to-do lists? I schedule everything I do in a day — afternoons are usually for writing.
As for the project itself, I’m very good at organising it all in my head lol. I see the big picture and know where I’m headed so I just jump into whatever bit I want to work on. There’s no specific target unless there’s a deadline — in which case it’s just “Get it done!”
Sometimes I do, but my lists usually have things on them like:
• rewrite outline
• remove second paragraph of chapter 3
• make list of possible names for new character
• find out what middle-class men wore for dinner in those days
• look up synonyms for munificent
• search for cottage core houses in Google Images
• etc.
So it’s not a list of optional things I’d like to do yet likely won’t, but rather things that absolutely have to be done in order for the story to move forward. ¯\_(ﭢ)_/¯
I don’t, not really. I just make the goal to write that day and try to get to it. The act of writing is the only thing on the to-do list if there was one. xD
