I use a plug-in called TubeBuddy which is really useful in finding trends and niches, and can convert videos into shorts for you. It’s cheap if you have under 1k subscribers.
I would say don’t worry much about splitting up your channel into multiple. People always say niche down but I disagree, actually, and am planning on using my design channel for my writing, general business stuff etc.
Shorts are very important now (not as before, but still good) as they get thrown into the algo much more often.Consistency is my archnemesis (ADHD woo) but that is also very important

TubeBuddy? I never heard of this. Is there an app or is it some extension like the ones Chrome has?
It’s an extension, works better on Chrome

I’ve heard other YouTubers say this as well
I’ve seen another thing when it comes to showing multiple interests on social media:
Might be interesting to watch because it talks about how to not confuse your audience

Thanks! I definitely might. Right now I have two accounts - my gaming, and my design. I would like to use my design account for design, writing. Gaming for gaming, cosplay and art. I feel like those things fall nicely together

My videos are gaining views though not many likes or more subscribers.
Still I am happy that I’m getting people to look at my videos.
The old me would’ve been stressed out because of it. Months ago if I started a YouTube channel, I don’t think I would’ve done so great, mainly because of my mental health.
I am in a good place now because I made a YouTube channel.

Same here!
Also, there’s a thing such as accumulative views. As time goes on, the videos sitting on your channel will just gather more views
Yes, you finally did it!
Yay you!
