Screw it- I should be in bed but I’m not so here she- they-

HERE'S THE CHARACTER!!!

Username : @NovelWritingIsHard

Name : (including aliases) Cazikaia Komen (it’s Caz, thank you much)
Gender : Uhhhh… N/A? I guess she more or less identifies as female, though.
Pronouns : They use she/her but has the occasional identity crisis with it.
Age : 27-ish
Species : realizes I haven’t given a name to that yet She appears Fal-Cannarran, but her species is best defined as “genderless blobs of magic energy that assume a physical form… Basically”.
Appearance : (you can link images as substitute) Navy blue skin that’s bioluminescent and glows sky blue upon touch and silvery white hair that’s turquoise at the tips that she keeps short, pixie cut. She’s small, coming in at only 4’6", but she’s pretty average for the species she appears as. Her face is round with a button nose and her eyes are round and set deep into her face. Thin lips, pointed ears, usually smiling in a more cruel than happy way. She wears black leggings and a deep purple crop top that only has only a left sleeve (full length sleeve) to show as much of her scar as possible without going naked. The scar trails the whole length of her back, form her hip all the way up and over her right shoulder… I think that’s everything I’m sorry Kab-
Personality : (at least 3 traits briefly explained) Uhhhhhhhh… The best I have here is “She’s Caz” and that’s the best I can say

Um, she can be pretty unpredictable at times theoretically depending on my ability to portray it-
She tends to anticipate as close to every possible outcome as possible for a given situation…
She’s chatty, will try to talk herself out of most situations and strike up a conversation with anybody… Or try to, anyways.

Backstory : (Just a few lines. You don’t need to write a lot here.) 28-ish years ago her consciousness developed and a year later she assumed her physical form… Not long after that she picked up a few different styles of swordplay and began mixing it with her magic. A few years later (so we’re at six… Seven since her consciousness formed), she was noticed by a guy running a ‘game’ that is not totally different from Colo but more similar to its namesake. Two or three years into that ‘game’ she got the injury that resulted in the scar and has spent the rest of her life doing the same thing, just refining her skills and then I stuck her here.

BASE STATS ; 1-10, a maximum total of 40

Strength : measuring physical power and carrying capacity 6
Stamina : measuring endurance, stamina, and good health 4
Dexterity : measuring agility, balance, coordination, and reflexes 10
Intelligence : measuring deductive reasoning, knowledge, memory, logic, and rationality 9
Charisma : measuring force of personality, persuasiveness, leadership and successful planning 8

Weapons : (if any; can include a picture link) sword/dagger pair. She carries the dagger on her leg and the sword on her back.

Special Abilities : (maximum of 4 abilities! Make sure to briefly explain them. Abilities will be added as you go up the ranks.)

Passage of Time Manipulation: Caz has the ability to manipulate how quickly time seems to pass for any one individual (including herself) for up to minute. This can include the stoppage of time in some cases.
Time travel: Caz can move short distances backward through time with the knowledge present. Time continues to pass when she goes back in time, and she must always return to present moment. When she returns to the present, she has only vague memories of what happened in the moments between when she went back in time and when she returned to the present moment. She can only use it once per fight or else risk getting lost in time and being unable to find the present moment. This ability is most frequently used to avoid an injury after it has happened.
Body Armour: Caz’s skin is like an empty shell that’s extremely durable, but not entirely invulnerable. For example, the concentrated force of a bullet would go through her like it would any other person. She also burns like any other person would. The biggest difference is that if her skin is punctured, she has only a second or two before she’ll be dead. Burns won’t likely kill her, but she’s likely to be incapacitated from them.

Fighting Style : (are they aggressive? Passive? etc.) Appears: Quick, coordinated and sporadic Actually is: A disjointed mix of her magic abilities and “I hope this works” thrusts of weapons.

If you’re interested in submitting a character, just use the character form template found in Rules & Guidelines (〚 C O L O S S E U M 〛- A Writing Prompt Battle Game - #3 by kabanerry) and your character will be entered into either this upcoming round or the next one.

In its essence, the game is pretty simple—a prompt will be assigned to you, you write the fight scene between your character and the prompt opponent, and depending on whether you succeed or fail you’ll go up a rank/gain ability bonuses. Idk why I put the staff on there… It can probably come off. Logistically speaking it’s more of am inconvenience than anything else in this context because she just carries it around and by the time Kab’s done with her, she probably won’t need it technically speaking.

The staff itself has separate magical properties to Caz, such as its ability to follow her or the sound it always makes when it hits the ground (similar to heals on linoleum)… Regardless of the surface.

Having it to control her magic is mostly psychological, but it does give her a level of mastery over her element (time) that prevents her from accidentally tapping into her inverse (illusions), which she knows very little or even nothing about, in high-stress situations.

So- Ah- Maybe I’ll come back to this on the morning when I can type/think.
