Kitkats are halal or haram based on the site of the production company. If they’re produced in a muslim country, they’re most likely halal. Same goes to Oreo.

I read somewhere that Oreos got piggy stuff in them. I don’t know what or where.
If you have a country with a prominent muslim population that isn’t outright a muslim country, like North Ireland, would they still be halal?

To make it easier, I’d check the ingredients. Some are labeled Vegan, that would make it easier.

Well, after searching it seems like in the case of Ireland it doesn’t work. There are special halal markets there, we can buy vegan products as well or check the ingredients just in case. However, if we take Turkey as an example it works. Turkey tends to make most if not all products halal.
