Usually, when we are nervous about dating someone we will get butterflies in the stomachāthe thing is that if youāre not nervous about dating someone, you wonāt get butterflies. That has nothing to do with whether or not thereās a spark, but itās a major trope that youāre supposed to get a bit of a queasy stomach when youāre in love, so if youāre following a cue that you can get from a bear chasing you through the forest, to find love, you might misdirect yourself.
Might. Because some people are anxious about love, they still get the response even in healthy relationships.
But a kid doesnāt have all this lore built up about what love isā¦so they give some interesting answers.
