QOTD: would you ever want to write a story/poem/novel in a language other than English?
I’m mostly aiming this at people who fluently speak 2+ languages, but if you don’t: what language do you think would suit your story best and why?
(Pro tip for both questions: it can be fictional/long dead. It doesn’t have to be real/still in use to be a candidate!)

I’ve written poems in Japanese before. Even wrote a short story once. Very short story. Once considered writing a novel in Japanese, but I ended up starting that in English

Same. I’ve written short poems in Russian too, but my main language is English.
I rly want to write more in Russian tho. ;Rit makes happy.
