I linked it above. Another one I don’t think that Kidz Bop covered is Mr. Boombastic. Which is the superior version of “I’m too sexy for my shirt”.
I did read a few stories in a collection of Roald Dahl’s adult-targeted work.
You make it sound like romance is a side plot but I’ve barely finished the prologue and it’s already foreshadowing struggle snuggles and magical sex addictions xD
Will keep reading to see what happens.
Heard this song, who knew that the video will be like this
What did you expect the video to be like?
I maybe heard about BFG and Matilda.
Or maybe that’s Matilda Bagshot
Romance is kind of a side plot. You’ll know after you finish the series. Based on what you remember then, you’ll understand.
Which part are you on?
Idk. I just maybe never thought much about the video. Heard the song maybe in reels or something
Only part way through chapter 2 xD
I might have an hour or two tomorrow night to get back into it again.
Whenever some friend of mine is reading a book I recommended, and tells me that, I keep asking which part they are in.
Chapter 2 as in? What’s going on in the story?
Like this
Fair point xD
So it’s the part where she just arrived in Dublin and checks into the Bed and Breakfast so I’m guessing this is where the actual story begins.
Ah, I’ll try to not give you spoilers. Unless you are fine with that?
I usually don’t care about spoilers unless one of those mystery type books where the entire plot resolves around the final reveal. So go ahead xD
Chapter 8 now, she’s just returned to Jericho Barron after seeing the Grey Man.
I found such a spoiler but still maybe couldn’t guess it and at last was surprised.
Anyways, Mac will be staying at Jericho’s book store. Though that’s not much of a spoiler. Also the dark lord or something, Mac’s sister’s ex, he maybe actually liked her sister and not the main culprit as they might think maybe
Well finished the first book. Barrens did foreshadow that the lord master might not be her sister’s killer so that does line up with what you’re saying.
That ending was pretty abrupt and the drive by with the Sinsar Dubh and the declaration of an incoming war in the final few sentences felt like a really forced cliffhanger.
Fun read though, it’s been awhile since I’ve finished a book.
What are we looking at? A bowl of something?
It’s an eyeball creature bathing.
Is it actually?
Looks more like a jam thumbprint cookie being held up by peach slices or something.
