Hello everyone! It has been quite a while since I last posted in here. I honestly forgot what this forum was called, and the last month has been hectic. But I’m back, and I have something new in the works.
Since it’s NaNoWriMo, I thought that starting something fresh would help. So that’s what I did.
I’ll include a link to a Google Doc, so you can read the premise, below.
But, basically… I’m in the last planning stages and hopefully, I’ll be writing the first chapter next week. I won’t be reaching my 50,000 word count goal for NaNoWriMo, but I also didn’t plan or plot during preptober.
I basically used the first two weeks of November to plot and plan this “novel”. It’s going to be a duet. Two books. So, I will be working on the first one soon! Hopefully!
I’m looking forward to having people read this one. And having it polished, so I can (hopefully) get it published somehow.

Happy Monday, my apologies on this being late. I was in the emergency room last night with what we thought was a potential blood clot in my lungs. Turns out it’s just pneumonia which is actually the best case scenario here for us. If something had to be wrong that is the best option with what my symptoms were. But anyways. I’ve got my medicine now and I’m home resting until my in-laws get here on Thursday. Hopeful to have some more stories to read this week, but it’ll be good for me to get ahead on video editing again. Luckily i’m the only one in my household that is sick.
Hello!
So I have been trying to write the main love interest’s story but I may just skip that and go straight to the chapter summaries. Because, I really want to write this story!!
Also @Vintaginity you don’t have to put me on hiatus anymore! I’m fully back!
I just hope … you guys will like this story. I really do. Because I really love this story and want to tell it.

I’m working on the chapter summaries today, hopefully, since I had a headache last night. I hope to be able to work on them today and finish them as well. I haven’t written the plot outline at all for this story and something came to mind… I can just skip the journey to the mansion/castle. And just let the story take place over there.
So I will need to write some plot to help guide me through the chapter summaries. But I hope, I really do hope, I can write the story starting today or monday!
so…apparently all I had to do was clear my cache for this to work. You’d think I would think of this since my brother works in IT. anyways…nice to see everyone again
Sorry, just seeing this but it was old route 666. I think its now highway 491 i believe. If you pics from that road it’d be great. If not, sorry I missed your offer.
I’ve had so much family stuff going on I haven’t kept up with too much. I’m finally getting back into the swing of things and back to writing. if anyone needs the last half of Devil’s highway or a new book, lmk and I’ll see what else I have done.
Also, question for everyone. I’m wrapping up the dark fae book and starting to get a few chapters done for Lavender Hall. The story starts at the end of August when main character gets to visit her cousin at Lavender Hall to see why her husbands keep dying. It begins in this pretty, peaceful lavender filled setting and things seem fine. I was going to have the lavender harvested at the end of august and then ealy October a freak snow storm hits and they’re all trapped in the house as things come to a climax with the ghost.
My question is…since the title is Lavender Hall and it starts out pretty and purple, would it feel too misleading to lose the lavender and have a snow storm hit? I thought it might mirror how things were good when main character gets there vs how they fall apart later. Thoughts?
I love that symbolism! I would definitely keep such symbolism in mind… but maybe hint at it all falling apart before the snow storm hits? Maybe flowers die. Plants lose their vibrant colour. Trees lose their leaves and perhaps its mid spring. So it’s not supposed to happen at all. But then the snow storm hits. And people are suddenly painfully aware things have fallen apart. I don’t know. But I love that!
I think as long as the snow storm makes sense, it could be a really cool way to flip the narrative tone!
Also, would you like me to read siren or start on something else? I haven’t got that far into it, so I’m not too attached if you prefer me to start on a different one.
It’s up to you what you want to read. I have the siren book, the spooky road trip book or a dark fae book coming up. Let me know what you wanna go with
I do. I can add you on! For that one I welcome places were I can add more spooky elements to it as I don’t want that one to be too fantasyish or Tinkerbell fairy if you know what I mean.
