so i have an instagram account and i recently followed someone at my school (her account is private).
she has been posting downright HORRIBLE transphobic statements (which i will not show as to respect her privacy).
i’m thinking of reporting her for transphobia, but i’m scared to do so as i have recently followed her.
what should i do?

Make an alt account to report the page and hope that instagram will actually do something about it.

I don’t think she will be notified of who reported her, so you should be fine reporting her through your account. But if you feel like it may not suffice, you can create another account and report her through that one.
