I watched the first episode, and it felt like a feature length movie with no payoff.
Sorry for the roast but it is true. I couldn’t even stomach watching another episode.

I love the Sandman. I think it’s stunning. They’re sticking pretty close to the comics. Think of each episode as a short story with a through line. The Death episode is probably my fave. Glad it’s coming back. We’ll get some of the stronger arcs.
Uh…who do I ask to get those hours of my life back that I lost watching the whole series? I don’t think Mr. Sandy will give them to me, he seems to stern. Miss Death is cool but she probably can’t give me more lifespan.
I don’t watch a lot of netflix. I watched comedies and that weed show from California with Cathy Bates.

never seen it. i think i planned to read it but haven’t yet. Same with good omens. i watched some of that show and really liked it but i feel like i would like it even more if i read the book first and i just haven’t yet. tbr 2 full

watching it with company will make the experience more tolerable. I know this because @JohnnyTuturro made me watch With Love a while back and I have not yet forgiven him.
