Your defensiveness makes no sense to me. Iām just critiquing a bad story. If the author has a problem he can come and talk to me.

If itās bad, being Trans donāt excuse it. If itās good, being Trans doesnāt augment it. Forcing things based upon someoneās orientation or gender is the dumpsterfire way of ensuring people associate their intense emotions on the āmasterpieceā with the identityā¦

They mentioned it at the end and now identity politics is being used to make us feel bad. But I donāt feel bad, so Iām still going to talk about it.
JK Rowling has opinions that has colored her work. Conversely, people who are on the fence who like her books may be more favorable to her views. It is very muddy ground to add someoneās personal life to their writing, is all.
