I made a video and started a channel for YouTube!

What do you mean by transition title cards? Is that something you can do with YouTube? Do I need music in my videos? Because I was thinking about that.

I do need to practice sprucing up the thumbnail and adding a few things in between.

Might have to ask people for help, whether on here or elsewhere.

I also learned that you can show your video to your subscribers if you wanted to. That is a bit nerve-wracking, I would feel awkward doing that, since I am still a nobody.

I think the algorithm doesn’t care about whether you’re regular or not. It cares about watch time.

There’s people who post sporadically and they still work out :stuck_out_tongue:

I tend to stick to weekends, but I’ve missed some weekends and it hasn’t really been horrible or anything, so, just do as much as you feel like.

Really? I never realized that was the case! Interesting to know!

I’ve heard that from various YouTubers of various sizes and genres, so I think it’s true.

How long are people watching, are they commenting? Commenting is a big thing. If someone comments, it tells the algorithm that people are engaging. Then the algorithm sees that and says, huh, looks like I should push this to more people then.

That’s why I tell people to comment random words XD I see other people do it, too. Some even say “comment algorithm if you have nothing to say”.

Thanks for letting me know! I am working on my third video as we speak.

I do love the videos I make, though I could make it better and aesthetically pleasing.

I like your little password and log in intro. How did you do those? What did you use?

I use CapCut as a video editing software.

I see so many people saying good things about that

I think about it when it’s mentioned and then think, nah, I don’t want to bother XD
I use Microsoft Clipchamp these days. Finally figured out things I can do with it

I mean like lets say you have a bunch of different desk hobbies you want to share

  1. talking about the books you got from library
  2. the books you are writing
  3. the manga you are reading

have a way to let audience know transition.
this can be doing cuts, title card (like a blank image inserted with title), holding up title cards on camera, or like putting text on the video

this can all be done with basic free editing software. im not sure about within youtube i forgot.

i think music will drown u out.

I have three videos out now! Going to pick up on Tuesday and start again from there. I want these videos to simmer until then, personally.

If you ever get approached, you have to be so darn careful  I’ve heard so many creators’ horror stories

Not to mention that is too much work to deal with that.
