It’s been quite a while, hasn’t it?
Things have been going on, I went to a wedding, I had to comfort a friend after their dog passed, we had a health scare with Toby (he’s fine now dw), as well as some other things.
Including some big news:
I’m pregnant!
I’ll be 14 weeks along today, and I’m very excited.

I’ve been on a break that seems to have taken me months, maybe close to a year. I want to get back into it but it’s not an easy task.

Hello, welcome back (but I probably don’t know you, since I recently joined).
Congratulations on being gregnant.
Not much, just work, dog walks, and rotting on the Internet lol. Occasionally I go away on holiday. Rinse, repeat. Also trying to write, which has proven a challenge lately. But, overall, can’t complain - still employed in this economy lol 
Mostly in a cycle of working, caring for family n pets, and the occasional hangout with friends or date with my partner. Mostly work and videogames lately, tho 
Meeting job metrics is by far the biggest stressor, but eh, considering how rough the job market for my field is rn, better than nothing
Not much in the way of writing, buuut am making some progress on the weekends

You know, I was worried that while I was absent Wacky community dried up. I half expected to get a “this site doesn’t exist” result. I’m very glad to see you’re all still here.
I keep being surprised every time I realise like…oh damn it’s been nearly 6 years of Wacky and we’re still here?? Haha. Tbh we (as a mod team) are not able to invest as much time as we used to, but I think that laying such strong groundwork has helped people keep their own community alive. We’ve had a string of comebacks over the past year so we must be doing something right
