You could try something like reception or a hotel front desk position. It’s customer service but it’s not nearly as awful as retail. I work the night shift at a hotel and I find it to be pretty easy. Unless there’s an event happening (like a concert or an expo), there’s not a ton of people to deal with and the physical labour is light as well. The biggest issues are that you’re normally the only person on the property so all issues are your responsibility, at least until someone else gets there, and also in my personal experience there’s not a ton of communication between management and night shift which does lead to some frustration.
Oh yeah, and I guess switching to nocturnal hours is hard on a lot of people. I don’t find it to be but i’m a gremlin from the cave world so don’t take my word on it.
