Absolutely! Stir the ideas up. Seeing other fantasy writers in the Discord server discuss their books also drew me back to mine. I dug up my old notes and binders and found the maps 18-year-old me made. That was pretty cool!
I love that it is something to learn from as well as a comfortable hobby. Always learning new ways and new words. It’s fun!
Wow you had a whole map too? I always think it’s really cool when writers do that because I don’t think I could conceptualise space and worlds in that way. Like I can imagine it but not in the map sense.

How is everyone doing? I went back to work this week so it’s been busy. How’s writing?
Writing for me has been on the backburner because this job has tired me out and my days off went by too quick to do anything apparently lol. Gonna try to get back into it soon though. Hopefully this weekend I can write something. I’ll still be working but maybe I can find time in the mornings.
Work does that! I hope you find time to get some writing in. How is the new job going?
The job has been good. Everyone is super nice there and it keeps me busy which is good, I don’t want to be at work AND bored / watching the clock lol. Also I’m on my feet so at least it’s good for getting my steps in!

I am glad to hear that! I also hate slow jobs, I need to be doing something. It’s nice when the shifts can go by pretty quickly.
Oh, work is work. It didn’t change in the month I was gone lol but it hasn’t been bad. I liked being at home but I also like having money so off to work I go. Writing is going well. Working on Beyond Dark 2 rewrites. My editor has me scheduled for summer 2025 so I have to get it done and get some money together so I can finally release this silly thing
Yeah, and I’ve been picked to be a part of a team for one section which is fun 
Yeah, money is the motivator haha. Ooh that isn’t too far, especially with how quickly time goes when you’re busy and when you have a deadline but it’s also exciting!!

Yeah which means I at least know what I’m going to be doing most of the time. Up until now I’ve been moved around a lot.

Yeah it takes a little of the feeling of being stressed or rushed to find out what you’re doing and figure out what your day looks like there which is nice. I get to look important wearing a headset too lmao.
Do you usually do something special for Halloween? Go to a party, decorate or hand out candy? We used to get trick or treaters when I was a kid but not anymore, but I’ve never done anything for the holiday. Some people might be dressing up for it at work though which will be fun to see lol.
