Yeah I like the back and forth, hearing someone else’s ideas is cool too. I like that, and it can also motivate you to work on your own story.

Absolutely! Stir the ideas up. Seeing other fantasy writers in the Discord server discuss their books also drew me back to mine. I dug up my old notes and binders and found the maps 18-year-old me made. That was pretty cool!
I love that it is something to learn from as well as a comfortable hobby. Always learning new ways and new words. It’s fun!
Wow you had a whole map too? I always think it’s really cool when writers do that because I don’t think I could conceptualise space and worlds in that way. Like I can imagine it but not in the map sense.

I feel like it was decades ago, the last time I made a map.
It’s been well over a decade for me, I know that. I used to love making maps.
How is everyone doing? I went back to work this week so it’s been busy. How’s writing?
Writing for me has been on the backburner because this job has tired me out and my days off went by too quick to do anything apparently lol. Gonna try to get back into it soon though. Hopefully this weekend I can write something. I’ll still be working but maybe I can find time in the mornings.
