Your secret is safe with me
Mallord projects his soul into the spirit realm with mediums.
Covered a potential plot hole in the third chapter: Why is Karen so friendly, generous, and trusting towards Dov even though they never met before chapter three?
Besides that being Karen’s default nature, thanks to Karen’s contacts in the Mossad, she knows more about Dov than Dov knows about Dov. Karen claims the most fascinating part of her Dov Dorise was the reason for his preference of wearing thick pants around strangers, even during the summer months (note Polanski’s genetic freak comment*). The restricted military stuff was most dull by comparison.
*Decided to make Dov a more pronounced genetic and social obscurity, and therefore better suited to the Commandos and Karen's motley housemate collection.
In Dov’s character background, he began puberty at age seven and ended at age 19, and his body produced a naturally (almost dangerously) high level of testosterone throughout. However, Dov experienced no noticeable medical ailments (well, negative ones) or personality changes as a result.
Dov was rarely aggressive or hostile towards others, avoided attention and crowds, had maybe two or three (polygamous) girlfriends / intimate partners in High School, and he was mostly risk adverse. Until some fool upset or threatened one of Dov’s siblings or one of his few friends.
Also contemplating a re-draft the pool rescue scene, again. Emphasised Freyja’s instinctive fatalistic devotion to her companions, especially Dov. A possible change is Freyja jumps into the deep end of the villa’s diving pool at the first hint of Dov (carrying a cramped-up Krista) struggling to reach the surface, despite Freyja not being able to swim* and despite Dov’s orders for Freyja to wait by the pool’s edge.

This scene
Flower blinked as Sapphire dropped her head.
Is this a trick?
“We…” the Weimaraner started, trailing off with a glance at the other two, who were standing behind her, tails tucked.
“We’re sorry…”
Flower tilted her head.
“We are so sorry for how we acted…we never should have done that, we just…”
“Why did you do that?” Dandelion asked, coming up to Flower’s side.
“They only did it because of me! None of us are exactly a leader of each other, but they still see me as one.”
Sapphire looked up, an expression of pain in her eyes.
“It wasn’t always just us three…there were a few more. Not a whole lot, but we were still a group…we would argue sometimes, of course but we cared about each other. One day, we were attacked…we managed to fight off the attack, but not before one of them shot a spell at the others. The spell made them vanish. We never knew if they were teleported somewhere, if they’re trying to get back to us…or if the spell…”
Sapphire whined.
“I know it’s no excuse for our behavior, but I felt like I had to protect these two. I can’t let that same thing happen to them.”
The MC is taking an official call on her phone while she’s soaking in the bath tub, on whether or not she’s going to return to the firm she quit a month or two back…and the 2 men on speaker phone is her current lover (not publicly known about) who is officially a retired English teacher, and likely Chicago’s secret Mafia Boss, and another junior partner at B&S who is her former boyfriend, long before she left the company…and she’s taunting both men with absolutely not going in and straightening out a damn thing on returning to work as vulgarly as she wants to.
Richard is pretending to not be afraid.
Meanwhile, Mallord has just been punched in the stomach and robbed.
‘You,’ Mavrilo directs his rage at the boy. Raspard: Me? Yes, my lord? ‘Quit standing around like some enterprising whore on Dock Street, Master Guly. Make yourself useful.’ As you wish, my lord. But the letters are sorted, the candles snuffed, the kitchen is asleep, the beggars outside fed and driven away. How can I be of use, my lord? ‘Why are you such a person? Get out! Find something to do. Wash my Lord father’s beshitten breeches for all I care!’
Even Oda thought so.
Chapter 1, Part 1 of Project Succession:
The boss: Today is your day off! Go out and make friends, find a boyfriend, go socialize and have fun!
Aeris: I would rather work and I don’t trust people.
Pretty much this gist of the last part.
Kek asked Amneris who goes through the rift first so she threw him through it and waited to see if anything happened
Valstina uses misting to turn a dead roach into a spider, making her want to become a professional mage.
