Ah, okay.

So, all it needs is to worked on a bit more in order to make it stand out, huh?

Possibly. You don’t want this to overwhelm you, at first. Flipping the script is a lot easier than no good guys.

Alright then.

You got me thinking now. Since three of my main characters in my novel are antagonistic—well more like two because I still debating about one, I do need a ā€œgoodā€ guy or something to stop them.

It could be a remorse and repentance story, having them be bad until the end where they confess to themselves that this is wrong and that their personal redemption lies in atonement.

If it’s bad enough by the time you stop the wrong (like it is not fully stopped, just partially), they can act like a tarnished knight, where the rest of their life is a vigilance of wiping out the bad that remains.

That would NOT be a happily ever after.

Hmm…now I am curious.

I mean that could be understandable for one of the main characters but the other two not so much.

Bah! You are making think a lot and I am loving it!

Unless you’re the pantsing type (I am), thought is needed.

I am more of a plotter.

Looks like we’ve got a favorite! Thanks everyone!
I’ll likely make a mix of A and the other designs (also she wants him to have a lightsaber, should be a simple accessory to make)

Said friend wants this to be a Christmas gift, so I’ll get started on it this weekend ~

Often it takes spoilers to make me consume a piece of media, but there are times I wish I’d gone into something I really ended up loving unspoiled, and sometimes if I’m really curious about something I’ll want to go in without spoilers.

I think I’m changing into someone who seeks out spoilers less, but it still depends.

I’m in the northern part of America so it always snows where I live, except the snow comes later every year- for context, we normally get snow in late October or early November, and now it’s December and it hasn’t even snowed yet 🄲

We get snow about once every 7, 8 years. It’s anywhere from December to February for that 1 week of winter.

The snow line in part follows warmer weather, so the snow aspect always makes me go, ā€œWell is it warm and no snow?ā€ Because the winter squall lines have been lower than I remember.

I have to say I’m glad I’m not moving until February/March because where I’m moving they get an average of five feet of snow every year.

No one is afraid of heights, only of falling from them.

Why is ā€œneverā€ not an option  some of us come from tropical countries, ya know :smiling_face_with_tear:

I need a mecha fan’s opinion on this.
If we are making a mecha robot that is all terrain and has superpowers, which of these names sound suitable?

  • Blitz Warmech.
  • Warfare Mech.
  • Ominous Machine.
  • Command Suit.
  • Dread Unit.
  • Defensive Armor.
  • Armor Suit.
  • Chaos Sentinel.
  • Royal Command System.
  • Other (explain in comments)

Hello, fellow mech fan.

Aw, man! What I would not give to write a decent or good enough military science-fantasy story with mecha robots of all shapes and sizes.

Damn, why you gotta be so hard dream novel?
