So, tell me, what is on your mind at the moment? (Part 1)

Legit, it’s better to do that somewhere they have nothing to do with until you have your spice under control, no?

Most that type of thing, my husband gets to hear.

A man with energy is fun…on paper. I’d like to leave them in a book. lmao

that’s indeed why i’m doing it here :man_dancing:

not ‘energy’, ‘A energy’ as in mansplaining energy. sorry i should have just typed that before.

if he just had energy… then yes i agree.

A. Energy is funny to me. I either space out or I be a dude back at them. That’s part of why they tell me Im intimidating at first. Funny stuff.

Yeah, I have no idea. There were definitely Americans and the older men looked possibly Native American/Hispanic (or even Indian American), and there also seemed to be Indians from India at their table too, whom they met. They definitely sounded Indian and the Americans sounded American. The older men. :joy:

I also found out that Americans own the hotel now and it’s a golf resort too, which is why so many come here during the summer months. Maybe to escape the heat too. But the frat boys were really drunk and super annoying and loud. The older men seemed to carry themselves with a lot more dignity than the frat boys, which is to be expected. But yeah, maybe they have high standards, being in America. Everything is very different here, it’s more rustic if that makes sense? It’s not a big city hotel.

I saw a father and son American next to us having breakfast, and they were kinda boring. Subdued boring, talking about boring college stuff, even though the son seemed a bit older than college age. Talking about business. Very boring. I (thankfully) didn’t see the Frat Boys :tm: this morning. They either stayed up and had breakfast early, and sobered up, or just missed it.

Which outlaw? Young Jefferson, or Maxipadishia? Or someone else? :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, the music was awful. A lot of people admitted that. The party after the music was MUCH more fun, and so were the bride and groom’s friends and family. They were fun. I enjoyed their company. The room was lovely. I had a good 2.5hr sleep in my bed. I stayed up 'til almost seven, writing at the desk because I wasn’t tired. I also had an afternoon nap and am going back for more after dinner.

Yeah, it seems like it. Breakfast was amazing, though.

Other than sqaure footage in cities, rooms are genrally larger here.

This will give a feel for soze difference in room space.

Iaws and outlaws. Inlaws are who you marry into, outlaws are the ones who narry i to you but aren’t married to you specifically. So a brother-in-law who marries your siater is an outlaw. Slang, kothing offical.

Oh yeah my cousin’s bf I remember now lel.

And yeah, houses here are smaller but I prefer that.

We don’t need hulking houses. Ours isn’t big, but it’s fine to maintain.

But it affects hw you see opulance in a hotel room. You expect it to be a McMansion Mastersuite if you’re expecting something high end. That doesn’t mean that hotel wasn’t high end, it just wasn’t as grandiose as someone who is expecting larger than Texas suites.

Yes, :100: people think that size = quality but that’s not always the case. Especially in modern housing. Well, here anyway. 3-4 bedrooms is the average here and honestly, the buildings might be getting a bit bigger, but the quality isn’t improving at all. We have well-built brick walls here and some newer builds don’t seem to have the same quality as the 25 year old + ones.

Apparently, 94% of new homeowners report a major error in their new build home, and before, there were barely any complaints.

Also, like my new desktop background?

Really, a bit more Incan/Aztec (I always have to look up the artwork to notice the difference) in design, but “generic Mexican” in face structure.

True :joy:

I think the actor, JD Pardo who plays the main character is of El Salvadorian and Argentinian descent though. So he might be slightly more European looking in some angles.

Well, the same way that my husband is European. (We mostly are.), but that edge gets him asked if he’s Hispanic all the time (by other Cajuns who should know better) just because he had a beard or goatee much of the time. The best one is “are you Amish?”

Amish, great!

In Spain, a Spaniard started talking to my Dad in Spanish and he was like “idk what ur saying” and she was like “oops sorry thought you were Spanish…”

The main thing the Mayans MC has going for it is the good acting, and the good writing (for the first season or two anyway). And it helps that the main actors are “easy on the eyes” too. Which probably brings the women to the show. And the gay/bis. But I am there for the action, and the acting:

They play into that whole “look at me, I am a big, tough biker” stereotype too lol.
My friend thinks that the second dude is hot and that’s why they’re watching it with me.
They don’t care about me discussing the storyline much.

2nd dude has “the world’s most interesting man” vibes crossed with a boxer’s face. I can see the appeal, but that ain’t for “young women”, lmao.
