Me when I try to ease the tension with Charge! Men’s School Ontonojuku!
Cailou Shippuden or something?
Look, Calliou becoming Saitama would be the greatest redemption arc of all time, don’t you think? I bet Rosie would even forgive him for pinching/biting her as a baby!
I found Thorn’s song ![]()
Thorn is a shapeshifting shadow beast who was friends with Pinti for ten years and then betrays her.
“How could I do this to myself” part really matches with him. Thorn was not supposed to become friends with Pinti. He was not supposed to get involved in her life the way he did.
It ended up hurting both of them.
Thanks for your breakdown! I had a good long think about it later and realized I might have been jumping on it a bit too much
And also posted that without much context.
I was specifically referring to where he talks about his preference, and not necessarily claiming his entire comment was not feedback. It was feedback. The latter half was all feedback and which ended with a friendly “good luck on your book”.
The personal preference thing just got me because I had two other people telling me to change things based on their personal preference…
Prior to him, someone else said “the name Jabberwocky bugs me so you should get rid of it”, and another said “for me the Alice stuff is distracting so you shouldn’t put it in at all”. No one else said anything like this.
I mean, it is feedback, but telling me I should change something based on one person’s personal preference…
Just to let you know, I did just say to everyone “thanks for your feedback” and “thank you!”. I knew I was feeling tired, frustrated, and annoyed, and not in the best place to receive critique, so I returned a few hours later and saw everything in a better light.
The pendant guy, in the latter half of his feedback, gave extensive grammar edits which was nice of him as he didn’t have to. Ten other people commented as well and many were helpful.
I pretended the personal preference comments were not there
If five people said the same thing, okay, then I might consider removing “Jabberwocky”, but if not, it’s staying.
Anyway, I do see where the pendant guy’s coming from.
I fully understand ![]()
Everything was just such bad timing, but none of us are on bad terms, and I edited the blurb and posted the updated version in the same group
It’s been the most helpful, responsive group out of all the ones I posted to, so, I’m waiting for another feedback frenzy.
I made days for next month on which of the Project Trio because to do all three stories on the same day is a massively tiresome feat to do.
I cannot act hard-headed this time.
oh my gosh, are you busy ![]()
I like how everything is color coded ![]()
Yeah, in terms of writing, I am very busy.
In terms of life and anything else, I got WAY too much free time.
If I didn’t try to do it that way, I would end up only hurting myself by trying to do three stories in a day, everyday.
Can’t do that to myself.
I can’t wait for this coming Friday, but even more so Saturday when I can finally get my new laptop to get some serious writing and to just have something of my very own again.
Yippee!
Death by allergic reaction is scary stuff, especially when it could’ve been prevented in some way or form.
This really sucks when restaurants don’t take food allergies seriously.
Honestly, I plan on getting a new desk in either May or June.
Because white get dirty too fast, and I hate having to keep it clean or try to.
So, I get darker color of a new different desk and save the money to have someone build it.
My unmotivated ass cannot do building furniture again.
I refuse to through that hell once more!
Just wanted to tell you that Reedsy is VERY interesting to look at, and I am considering it plenty, but I need to try Fiverr next, in terms of which is better.
Thanks again. I already selected ten professionals even though I am still working on the first drafts of my novels.
Got questions for me? I have a few for you, honestly. ![]()
EDIT: Fiverr does look like it for writing and more other freelance things.
Hmm…
Wowza. Yes, I haz questions. How long does it take you to finish a novel on average? Do you make your own covers, or are you planning to find someone on Fiverr to do that for you? And what are you looking for in the way of professionals? Editors? Or just everyone? Formatters, editors, cover designers, book promoters, etc.? I’m impressed that you’re looking for people before you’re even done with the first draft. Sounds like you’re getting your ducks in a row! ( ˆ◡ˆ)۶ ٩(˘◡˘ )
Hmm…since I’ve finished the House of Naivin, I was writing daily and that was done in a matter of months, something like that. So, since then, I haven’t finished a novel due to mental health and well, mental health. I have a deadline of my Project Trio till October of this year, but it might be one of the three projects might get finished before that. It seems like Project Merellien is going to be that story.
I have zero artistic skills so I will get someone to do it for me. The problem might be explaining the characters’ features. Though Artbreeder can assist with that a bit.
Anything and everything. I do have five professionals who tackle developmental edits and other things. I do need to search for an alpha reader and beta reader. I just got too excited that I totally forgot to do that. LOL!
Thanks, I just wanted a general idea of what to look.

Relaxation day!
I am subscribed to three women on YouTube, and they all focus on dealing with being neurodivergent as an adult.
It is marvelous when you know you aren’t struggling alone and people are like you, hanging in there at time and doing their best to cope as best as they could. From the videos to the comment section, I am very pleased knowing that I was never alone.
It gives a sense of hope and happiness too! ![]()
I have my own problems with terminology, but finding people who have similar struggles as you do is always special.
Didn’t know how else to word things. I am sorry about that.
Yes, it is a warming and hopeful type of special.
