So, tell me, what is on your mind at the moment? (Part 1)

I think my recommendations are broken

One thing I’ve noticed about Japan that I see in anime is the location of vending machines.

You can literally walk out of your home, head down the street and you will find a vending machine to purchase coffee milk, sodas, juices, and/or water. Here in America you can’t even get a luxury like that, you would have to enter a store just to use a vending machine. They do not have a vending machine on the street, you need to walk into a store to use the vending machines they have.

Hell, in Japan you can find two vending machines on the street that can be used if you are lucky enough, but that shit is so common.

America doesn’t have anything like that, but the moment they would ever do that, shit would not fly in America the same way in Japan.

@NotARussianBot: It’s things like that, that make me want to travel to Japan or even another country with little luxuries that America lacks. I won’t deny that America has it’s own little luxuries that other nations don’t have, but I am just intrigued by that.

There are too many criminals in America who would break into the vending machines if we had them just out on the street. America can’t have nice things because no one here has a moral compass. ¯\_(ﭢ)_/¯

Some people don’t have a moral compass. They have a moral slot machine.

Exactly! It sucks because that is a nice little convenience to have in a way.

This is clever :joy:

So does that mean the really bad ones who do something that gets them put behind bars hit BAR BAR BAR on their slot machine?

Yes.

Alternatively they could have a moral roulette wheel.

Being a grown woman with AuDHD, I realized that tongue biting is an ever constant thing due to stress, anxiety, or nervousness of some kind.

I have been very stress these past days…

Hey, everybody, check out my dream desk!

Comes with $29.99 shipping. Also, I am not purchasing this desk now or even later, unless I come into some serious cash or something.

@NotARussianBot, @Akje, @TheTigerWriter, @JojoDahlia: There’s a crazy amount of storage, right? LOL!

Looks big, and you may have to put it together yourself.

Yeah, no, I can hire somebody to do that if I had the money.

Cute! Looks pretty big!

I personally prefer simple styles. If we’re talking absolute dream desks, I’d pick luxury ones lol.

Like these

Yukio Desk - DaFre, designed by Gordon Guillaumier (starting £1900)

Compas Direction - Vitra designed by Jean Prouvé (starting £2500)

Aksel Writing Desk - Porada, designed by Meneghello Paolelli (starting £6000)

Those desks are cute and simplistic.

What gravitated me to my dream desk is the amount of storage space. All those drawers could hold something from books to other things.

I love desks with plenty of storage space.

Nice! I wouldn’t want it in white, and I’d want one of those little shelves underneath to put the keyboard at an ergonomic height, but this is a beautiful desk. (*^-‘) 乃

I am sure this comes in black, a dark grey, a rustic brown, or something else.

Though, I did not see that for this one.

For me I would make it wider, not longer, just a bit wider.

Argh. Another day in this hellhole we call Florida. (⊙.⊙(-̶●̃ₒ●̶̃)⊙.⊙)

But on the upside, I just learned the name of our governor is an anagram of Sardine Snot. Who knew? ☜(ˆ▿ˆc)
