There are a pair of black swans living at a duck pond here in town, and it’s considered a good omen if you see one of them. Goodness knows how they got here, but I love watching them glide on the water. They’re so graceful! (ღ˘ᴗ˘ღ)

They are originally from Australia, it’s possible they escaped or were released from a private aviary.
A swan is a swan, no matter the color.

Good news for my screen addiction: my free youtube premium trial expired and since Christmas ads make me want to put my head through a wall, I think I’ll lighten up on that area of doomscrolling until January.

pluses and minuses, its nice in some ways but usually no elevator in older or smaller buildings which makes groceries or moving in or out harder

I cut my hair really short because the scalp is dirty and it has a lot of cuts and dandruff on it but I need my dad to finish it tomorrow because the back looks awful

I absentmindedly forgot to take my pillows with me and because of that, trying to sleep on just an air mattress is tough for me. I am not comfortable at all, due to the lack of pillows.
