Did you ever see those Spungemonkey commercials?
I just looked up what it was. Probably not. Unless it’s a 90s commercial and specifically on the channels with Cartoon Network, Disney, and Nickelodeon, I probably haven’t seen it ![]()
This sounds like a song I wrote when I was five. Zeppelins go quite high.
How breakups suck and that my romantic partners were actually the only family I’ve ever known.
I swear I don’t think about this all the time.
However, I did think about ‘80s sax solos some more, and another one that fits my criteria of not only being really good but adding to the song is Ernie Watts’ solo in The Rolling Stones’ cover of Smokey Robinson and the Miracles’ “Going to a Go-Go”.
(The solo lasts from about 1:39 to 2:07, but the whole song is good.)
Yesterday I checked out a Stephen King book from the library that I had on hold.
It’s not a horror book, but it’s quite fitting that the due date is Halloween.
Currently thinking about how I’m going to craft the books I am planning on making for Christmas gifts — one for my boyfriend and the other for one of our friends. It’s going to involve a lot of drawing to make little activities and things for them as a sort of mindfulness journal for them to colour and stick and decorate when they need a break from stress or whatever. I think I’ve finally found the plain page journals I want to get to start building these up, but I am going to need to do a lot of girlbossing and getting busy making as soon as I buy the journals to get them finished in time!
Being deadnamed is like the bubble of safety around me has burst and now I feel like a spoiled brat for asking for basic human respect.
Oh, and how o injured my knee and now I need crutches
Grace Duval’s video on her traffic cone dress led me to find out about wearable art
I like this idea more than the weird, high-end fashion shows. Wearable art actually has a story behind each piece.
(edit: the high-end fashion shows, the clothes might have a story, and they might have meaning, and some people might consider it art, but for me, the kind of wearable art Grace DuVal makes, or Julie Schafler Dale talks about is more human and gritty, and full of life)
