So far 2023 has kicked off like a victory. I won a lottery even at Pixiv to score a sweet prize. Gained 7 ebook sales on my Google store. And someone expressed interest to feedback one of my works.

I might be able to do ONC after all 
One of my professors has given me so many red flags that I’m going to try and drop his course. Just the way he talks down to us, constantly accusing us of being lazy; he talks about his cohorts behind their backs, he’s discriminatory toward one of my classmates who is on the spectrum, and he’s just one of those tenure tract professors who knows their job is safe so they don’t bother listening to student feedback… I’ve never dropped a course because I didn’t like the professor, even after 6 years of uni. Usually I can find something to like about them and their class, but I just can’t with him. It’s my last year at uni, I have enough to be miserable and stressed about without my professor making it worse 
so I’m not going to stay if I can help it.
Unfortunately, there are some things that might stop me from being able to withdraw, such as financial aid and whether it’s available as a summer class. Just waiting on my advisor to email me back - I seriously hope I can drop it 
if I do, I might be able to do ONC this year still, and I think I have a possible idea or two for it now.
Damn, he’s determined! I’d be pissed if my dog chewed or yanked the wire.

I finally wrote a whole chapter to BTTG! I skipped a chapter before it, but meh. It counts! The faucet is running again! 
It took exactly a week of publishing every day but I’m finally ranking in paranormal (only 575 but this is huge, at least I’m on the list).
This also answered my question: does republishing chapters count? Yes, it does.
Do actual new reads count? Apparently they don’t because I’ve had a total of 1 read a day.
I should mention that there are reads and votes on it from the first publishing. No clue if they have any bearing on the ranking but I’m guessing that they don’t.
I’m keeping track of every rank to see how they change in relation to posting + reading, etc.
working on this character quick-reference file has taught me that i don’t know the alphabet.
Alright! I got good hours of sleep and now I am going to write as much as I can of Red Reign and The Breakers novels.
I think I am in a fairly good spot now!
Alrighty then, after I post a thread topic, I shall get started. I have a somewhat general idea of what my stories are about or will be about.

I should jot down notes for The Breakers and Red Reign. Like braindumps or something…maybe.
EDIT: I feel a brand new idea for a third story also set in the world Alagossia coming.

Not a high volume day today, but really satisfying. I edited and posted the weekly updated for ‘The Fireman’s Girl’ and wrapped up chapter 3 of my online WIP. I am going to catch up on reading now because I plan to do the next review this weekend.

I am going to go on a little Ghibli movie binge while I write in the background.
I made progress today with the ending. The next scene to write is my MC getting his heart ripped out of his chest. Figuratively. It will hurt though. A lot. Because life isn’t fair and just because you have a gift, it doesn’t mean that you can break the laws of life and death. Cheating is always temporary.

I am about to embark on a cool writing adventure with The Breakers then move towards Red Reign and come up with some interesting ideas for my third story which I shall call either Suppose I become the next Queen of the Gods or Taking my place among the divine.
The third story is pretty much me trying to attempt to write my very own webtoon and manga/anime, but still set in Alagossia.
Time to write!
saturday is my go-out-and-write day but i finished the project i was hand writing and i don’t really want to drag my laptop out after spending all week on it finishing the character quick-reference sheet.
i could pull out the project i was saving for camp nano or i could start a new project. idk. i’m a little burned out rn to be honest.
