So this web comic idea of mine is living rent free in my head. Not sure if I can pull a full comic off, but thinking I can draw simple, shorts to start if I want to make an attempt?
It’s the “ghost” x human romance, which is turning out to be quite a comedy. There will be sass. Lots of sass.
(ahem, still haven’t gotten back to writing my actual novels)
A big theme that this (now) trilogy explores is that love empowers and can bring a major positive change to your life but love alone doesn’t solve problems. You can’t expect for your life to automatically get better just because you found someone special. If anything, you’ve got more to lose.
So it takes 3 books for these characters to overcome their major problems and finally get to the point of equilibrium, where they have a chance of happily ever after.
But who knows. I haven’t finished the third book yet. I might introduce a new unresolved problem in it.
I am still taking it slow here, though I started the next chapter in Champion in Love. But I also grabbed a good book from the library, on Isabella and Ferdinand (Castile/Aragon) so I am reading this along with Wattpad reads.
I am going to continue to do the new chapter summaries for my novel THN.
As for Red Reign, I will get there when I get there.
Quick Question: Does anyone else do this? Like if I type on the computer for some minutes or an hour or even more, my typing gets sloppy, and mistakes happen on a constant basis.
I type very wonky and rather slow for a writer. It is really sad, but that is how it has always been.
Anyway, when I type on the computer close to an hour, I can feel myself getting slower, prone to mistakes, and tired.
It’s really unfortunate that happens to me. Does it happen to anyone else? If yes, what do you do about it? If no, what can I do about it?
I ended with 45,700 words but I’m still writing the book. I’m guessing it’s about halfway done now, so I’ll be working on the same darn book during Camp NaNo in April. ¯\_(ﭢ)_/¯
But I won 14 out of 16 badges. Yippee skippy! ٩(˘◡˘)۶
It went well. I got just over the targeted word count, surprisingly. I got some of a few stories written because my aim was to finish 50,000 words and kickstart several projects, which I managed to end up doing.
It was difficult, though because of writers block in come circumstances and I missed my updated everyday badge because of that (oh well, always next year, huh?)
My typing speed isn’t bad but when I’m writing, I’m pausing and thinking, etc. And I guess other writers do less of that? I don’t know.
Everyone’s brain works differently.
For me, it’s like watching a movie in my head. So I see it and I write it. Maybe I can’t do both at the same time. Or maybe it’s just a side effect of my overanalytical nature.
Yup, I failed to make par every day too. But at least you got the most important one – you made 50k words! Congrats! ( ˆ◡ˆ)۶ ٩(˘◡˘ )
Have you checked out the winner’s goodies yet? And is there anything there worth having? It would probably be nice to get Scrivener for half price, but I’d probably never use it even if I did.
Thanks! I know that I got brought to a winners page but haven’t really checked them in depth but I know that I got those winners laurels which are really cool. You get other discounts too but maybe I will recheck things tomorrow again. At some point when I’m not busy.
Chapter Six started off a little rough and then I just kinda steamrolled through it.
It’s crazy how hard writing (or rewriting) a chapter can be in the beginning and then have it feel so easy by the end. I know writing can be magical, but can it be magical like that all the time?
