Dragon Ball
Pokémon
Doraemon
The list goes on and on apparently…
These are pretty lengthy in anime and possibly manga. There are more, but honestly yeah they are a bit longer than One Piece though. I mean I can’t name them all! LOL!
Anime wise, apparently, Sazae-san is super-duper long and that came out in the 50s or 60s in Japan! It never made it to the west and I think it is understandable why.
I am sure that there are a few anime and manga that work get shown in the Western countries.
A while back I looked up the most profitable franchises and history, and what I learned is that if you want to make a lot of money, work for Nintendo making games rated e for everyone.
I feel like that sometimes too! Nowadays, I read Korean webcomics or webcomics in general. The only manga I am sticking with is One Piece or random horror manga.
So, I am really getting into the manhwa (Korean manga) thing a lot than I would with manga! I rather watch anime than read certain manga which is a bit odd. LOL!
Same, same, my friend.
Thanks so much! I am glad! It has been a hard road and many tears were shed in the process. Things are slowly getting better, but it is a process and I am doing the best that I can.
I haven’t done much brainstorming on paper, it’s a lot in my head like a movie, so trying to work out the themes and angle is tricky. I have a lot of characters and I’m not sure if I should write it in third person, or what would be best for the story.
You must be a great visual learner fr. I, sometimes have that problem as well. I want to get all the character’s viewpoints in one scene-it sucks but i love writing in third person so much that writing in first person freaks me out.
Hm, maybe, I never really thought about it but things do make more sense to be shown rather than told. And I think I am pretty good at visually remembering things, to a degree. Not super detailed all the time, but I think my memory is pretty good.
I think first person is actually really hard to get right and make it interesting, especially if there is more than one or two main characters. I think it works well for solo character-focused stories, or maybe romances, but sometimes it just isn’t the right narrative for a story.
RIGHHHT??? First person is great if you’re focused on one character but I love using third person because it gives perspective to everything. FR writing is an art and so is drawing but it all has it’s pros and cons. Writing gives a deeper meaning to what the character feels i guess.
Has anyone done pottery? or ceramic painting? Share your experiencesssss because I did and I loved it. I used to take pottery lessons when I was a kid and it was honestly such a great activity to do to get away from your thoughts.
