I just watched ‘The Turning’ last night and the ending was very confusing. But when we learned what it meant, it was kinda- underwhelming? Ending spoiler> The MC finds out their worst fear came true, that she became crazy like her mother, so the supernatural stuff supposedly going on in the house was most likely fake and she was imagining it… but then what was the mysterious circumstances behind the last tutor (MC is the new one), the stable hand, the housekeeper, and the kids’ parents’ death? Also the boy was weird anyway for whatever reason…? So to get back on the thread topic, Ig I would be ok as the MC? Ig becoming your parents is a lot of people’s fear, but it doesn’t terrify me like that so I think I’d be fine. Idk, thoughts? Anyone else seen this?
oooo I love that one but have never been able to find it on DVD over here and it hasn’t been on TV since I was little. For the record, I love it because it’s when the Hex Girls first appear
Yeah, it’s still horror in a way.
Your comment made me think about shows with horror elements in it. I instantly thought about Courage the cowardly dog and how I would HATE to be in that show.
I should make another thread soon about that. LOL!
I watched IT 1 and 2
Ouch. It sucks to be you, especially if you hate clowns.
I hate clowns…now that i am 20…i feel better…but not much
Well, going by the novels, the clown is a bit different than your average supernatural monster.
Very, very different.
A friend says that IT is a girl in the book, at the end
I will not watch other horror movies
A girl?
That is NOT what I’ve learned.
really? what do you learn?
I am confused
I learned that the IT monster or Pennywise is an Eldritch Abomination known as Deadlight.

I heard about that in the movies, I am so confused now…is Pennywise a female or male??? I will never know
Pennywise is a male, but the giant eldritch spider which is it’s true form is a female.
Gender-bending.
Ahhhh, I see, so Pennywise is both genders???
Sure, we can say that is the case.
I don’t think eldritch creatures have true genders though it depends on the author.
True…I look up Pennywise while I typed this, alot of pics
Yeah, so IT is a bit of cosmic horror when you think about it.
Good to know, IT is scary
