I just watched ‘The Turning’ last night and the ending was very confusing. But when we learned what it meant, it was kinda- underwhelming? Ending spoiler> The MC finds out their worst fear came true, that she became crazy like her mother, so the supernatural stuff supposedly going on in the house was most likely fake and she was imagining it… but then what was the mysterious circumstances behind the last tutor (MC is the new one), the stable hand, the housekeeper, and the kids’ parents’ death? Also the boy was weird anyway for whatever reason…? So to get back on the thread topic, Ig I would be ok as the MC? Ig becoming your parents is a lot of people’s fear, but it doesn’t terrify me like that so I think I’d be fine. Idk, thoughts? Anyone else seen this?

oooo I love that one but have never been able to find it on DVD over here and it hasn’t been on TV since I was little. For the record, I love it because it’s when the Hex Girls first appear :joy:

Yeah, it’s still horror in a way.

Your comment made me think about shows with horror elements in it. I instantly thought about Courage the cowardly dog and how I would HATE to be in that show.

I should make another thread soon about that. LOL!

Pennywise is a male, but the giant eldritch spider which is it’s true form is a female.
