The skies are orange, but the waters are purple???

Seriously, does the environment in your fictional world follows the similarities to Earth, in terms of the sky and water.

I mean what color is the sky, the clouds, and the oceans/seas/rivers/overall water on your fictional planet?

Not my story, in Dragon Ball Z, Namek’s skies are green and so is the water. Plus, there are I believe three suns, maybe two. Namek is nothing like earth and it is never nighttime there neither.

Still, it is a planet like Earth, but totally alien. What about your own fictional world? What are suns like? What is the nighttime like? Climate? Air/skies and water?

Go on tell me!

I have a LOT of fictional worlds. Some are similar to Earth, some are Earth-like, some are completely different

Tell me about the faves of your fictional worlds, please?

My stuff is always on Earth, so everything is always traditional earth scenery xD. I do often tie in magic, so terraforming happens quite a bit, but the main points like the sky color, grass, and water stay the same. I had one story that I dropped that took place in space and trying to reimagine stuff honestly hurt my brain xD.

I’ve been playing around with a psychedelic enviroment where there are flowers in the sky instead of clouds. The skies are probably green, then, in order to fit with the flowers.

My world has two realms. The realm of the living and realm of souls.

The realm of the living is very much like earth; the seas are blue, the skies are blue, there’s one sun and one moon. But there’s one caveat: it’s undergone massive transformation not unlike climate change. What that looks like, I haven’t figured that out. Perhaps it’s more volcanic, more drought, and the weather is unpredictable. Also the stars aren’t in the right constellations because somebody literally pulled stars down to the ground in a battle.

The realm of souls is a mirror of earth but the land, the sea and the sky haven’t separated. You could fall upwards to the sky while walking on the ground only to find yourself in the sea.

I remember you telling me about some quite interesting ones. Like the elemental ones. And wasn’t there a planet with unique sky? And purple oceans?

Or was that you @HKelle ? I was talking with the two of you at the same time once and got a little confused

Elgana is quite normal in terms of color of nature.

Maybe Sorcerers eat neon yellow rice for dinner, and humans eat fried scorpions dipped in hot chocolate, but nature looks like Earth nature.

If you’re talking about number of things, there’s one sun and two moons that rotate in a magical way that no one can explain.

Arillion is an Alternative Earth like world, so skies and waters and such are the same…

The skies aren’t blue on Earth as it is. It’s every color known to man, but blue dominant.

Water isn’t always blue on earth, either. Bayou water up front is a murky brown, like coffee.

True, true!
It’s many colors!

I sounded a little too happy saying that for some reason.

Honestly, I don’t have favourites because I have so many to keep up with :joy: I’ve got ones made of molten rock and fire, I’ve got some with red skies and pink or orange oceans, I’ve got floating landmasses, missing continents, worlds made of ice, worlds made of mostly water, gas worlds, plant-filled worlds, worlds recovering from environmental disasters or heading toward them, I’ve got skies and grass and water of all different colours. There are too many :joy:

Yup, element ones (fire, water, earth, air, plant, ice).
I have a lot with unique skies :joy:
Purple oceans is probably somewhere but I think that was the other person you were talking with for that one :+1:

Basically, because I’m working with a megaverse (multiple multiverses) and everything is possible somewhere, I’ve got a lot of worlds :joy:
