I like “Corre Caballito”, but it’s not exactly secular.
The first line is literally “Run little horse, we’re going to Bethlehem.”

Oh, alright.
Wait, how many languages do you know? Just curious.
Spanish and English but I plan to know more.
Lucky.
I wish I knew another language even if it was just one.
Would you like to learn?
Either Japanese or Korean.
It’s not like I’ll go to Japan or South Korea anytime soon, but it would so cool to learn something.
I think the languages are pretty interesting. My third option would be between Russian or German.
Are you willing to learn the whole new writing system? You will if you study Japanese, Korean, or Russian.
It snows in Israel? I hope to visit it in the winter, then! Christmas in Israel—or better yet, in Bethlehem! I’d love to spend Easter there too.
Maybe one day.
Yeah.
I want to learn everything I can about the language.
Really digging the mood here
feliz navidad, feliz navidad, feliz navidad próspero año y felicidad
i kinda want to learn them too. the korean writing system seems interesting but the fact that’s it’s a whole new writing system is a struggle. japanese kinda scares me cuz there’s so many writing systems and i think that i may confuse the kanji.
But that’s the only one I can name that’s secular!
Outside of Spanish-language covers of season favorites (mostly originally in English). My family usually play gaitas around this time but that’s more of a Venezuelan thing than gaitas being actual Christmas music.
that’s the only spanish christmas song i know. and half of it’s in english
Only proving my point further…
yesh yesh you have a point. but also i don’t know any chinese christmas songs
I took Japanese in college.
Didn’t pass it which I regret wholeheartedly.
Surprisingly, I never took a language class in high school, and I really wished I did.
I wanna try Korean because well it is an interesting language. The only reason I wanted to learn Japanese is simply because I am an anime geek.
LOL!
Do people in Mainland China even celebrate Christmas? I don’t even know.
I do know that there is an Egyptian Arabic version of Jingle Bells, though.
language is required here but there isn’t many options. in middle school there was only spanish and french but now there’s also latin and chinese.
i kinda want to learn korean cuz i may or may not have been obsessing over loop lately and i like the phonemes.
And where exactly is here?
