Haha, I know how you feel! I only started coding, like, six months ago? Man I had to scour the forums for raw code to learn from. I made a really basic scroll box, with no background or border or anything, and my progress just skyrocketed from there I’d call myself a beginner at coding, though. Maybe intermediate at best.

Don’t be scared! I literally have a post on my personal thread titled “watch me try to code a slideshow (and fail spectacularly)” and I’ve failed at least three times. You’re fine. You can copy my raw codes for practice

Tip: if you don’t want to practice coding in public, you can private message yourself and use that as a coding playground. That’s what I’m doing.

Oh yeah, I get that. My uncle mentioned how if you don’t shovel the snow in front of your house, and somebody slips, you can get sued, so you have to shovel the snow. But what if you’re out of the country during the winter?

I thought it was going to snow pretty early. In late October, or was it early November, a tiny bit of snow fell and the temperature was below zero degrees. I was so happy that it was finally below freezing, but as December neared, it started getting warmer >.> to the point that I didn’t need a winter jacket and simply wore a sweatshirt or a hoodie over my t-shirt. Meanwhile last year, when I was forced to study online and at home, I saw on Snapchat that it was snowing heavily on campus by November >.>

Thank you! Yeah, I love making things prettier with code, but it takes so long sometimes. But it’s worth it in the end haha XD Until you get on your phone and realize it’s not mobile-friendly >.> I always test my code to make it desktop-friendly, mobile-friendly, dark-mode-friendly, and light-mode-friendly, just because I use Wacky on my laptop and phone and switch between light mode and dark mode depending on the time of day.

I mostly learned by looking at the Coding 101 thread and seeing other people’s codes but I didn’t just copy-paste. I started with the plainest scroll box and just went from there. Another tip: try looking at this page to see how to modify your code, because that’s what I did to make mine nicer.
