Soooooo it’s been a while but anyways, I’m back home and hoping to be a lot more active once everything’s settled. In the meantime, got a question for you folks β€”

What’s the one thing you did for a good cause, but ended up regretting?

I took a vow to be vegetarian for the duration of my exams, but since they were postponed, I’m still stuck on my all-veg diet. :sob: I’m so sick of tofu at this point istg.

I try my best to live life without regrets

ah, maybe promising to help out on religious retreats and basically fooling everyone into thinking I’m very dedicated.

I’m an athiest :man_standing:t2:

Eating spicy korean noodles. People say that mexican food is spicy, but East Asians don’t mess around.

Tikka Masala Tacos. (Yeah I know Indians are South Asian don’t come for me).

Not all Indian food is spicy, the desserts are good, but it get overwhelmed by the aromatic element alongside the spice.

Shut up :flushed: I know. Korma isn’t spicy. The deserts aren’t either but I was throwing taco ideas at you.

Mexican-Indian fusion is a genius idea

Ah :joy: That’s a good one. Can’t really relate though. As an Indian, food that isn’t spicy doesn’t hold much appeal for me

I can handle Mexican food, but not Indian food.

Here’s the ramen.

It is, maybe Marvin should do that

I personally don’t like soup noodles, they’re wayyyy too salty for me  But I do like ramen, and my current fav would probably be the Korean Buldag Chicken I think it’s called. That wasn’t as spicy as the maggi pedas gilerr, but really nice.

They have a lot of other kinds, even cheese!

Ah cheese. Anything with cheese tastes good :yum:

Probably a touch of Trinidadian cuisine is like this because it’s got a heavily India-Indian influence.

Oh man, sorry I replied so late. I meant to reply to this earlier but then I had no time :sob:

But I guess it would be starting last semester’s semi-hiatus on the day I decided to. During the first few weeks of my first semester on campus, I wasn’t that busy, and there was a lot of activity on this forum during that time. Now those people I used to talk to haven’t shown up in ages. If only I started my semi-hiatus later so that I could chat with them more, but alas, we can’t turn back time :pensive:

Speaking of which, I’m going to disappear from this place soon. Again. I have finals coming up and I’ve decided to sacrifice two weekends to studying, so I’m exchanging this weekend’s visit for today

Hopefully the threads will still exist when I return after my exams :joy:
