Hello everyone, it’s been a while! I had this thread unlisted for a bit while I was at school but I’m back and this is up again! Anyways, since we always have a plethora of interesting answers to every question, here’s another one for you!

If you could have one talent and be the absolute best at it, what would it be and why?

Mine would be to read people, in a sense, since it’d be nice to always know how to approach a person or diffuse a situation and such. Must be the diplomat in me. :joy:

I look forward to your replies!

Ooh this is hard! Aah. I don’t know about in general, but right now I’d give anything to be the absolute best at everything music-related. Music is just an intimate thing for me.
But I have been plagued with the regret of not taking it seriously when I was young, which left me with zero skills. T.T
I keep yearning to know its depths but I can’t at the same time. Which is very frustrating. My brain is not too malleable these days.

If I was able to play instruments and create my own music as an outlet for expression, that would be… amazing. I’ve only recently been thinking about this again, but if I get more time after I’m done with this schoolwork and nonsense, I’m hoping to relearn a few things… I’m just a bit worried that I won’t be able to catch on at this stage

Learning every single language, something about understanding people more and communicating with them would be awesome!

Ooh, this is deep! If you want to play all of them, I suggest with starting from the simpler instruments first, like the keyboard or guitar. There’s tons of tutorials on YouTube that are really great and easy to follow along! Good luck!

Ah yes, this one is awesome! Being a polyglot was one of my passing aspirations xD Do you plan on starting lessons after school or … ?

Oh the usual; homework, procrastinate, homework :joy: Currently in the procrastination stage by trying out a bit of coding. How’s things on your end?

I’m barely bilingual (slowly losing the ability to speak Vietnamese sadly) and I’m learning Mandarin in school currently. I’m thinking of learning a bit more after school ends and kind of studying a bit:)

==I’m trying out a new idea I have. As a screenplay or something. I’m still alive somewhat.==

Oof, that started happening to me when I moved to the US for a bit, since we spoke mostly English. I managed to retain speaking Malayalam by exchanging basic lines with my parents, or calling my paternal grandmother (she speaks no English at all) so maybe try something like that?

Jeez, Mandarin is tough xD I learnt it in nursery to preschool and then forgot most of it when I had to take up Tamil in primary

Good to hear! :joy:

Interesting, what’s it going to be about? :eyes:

I do speak Vietnamese at home (and read) but I’m still losing it anyway, maybe I’ll relearn it again in the future

Aww, I find it somewhat alright. Vietnamese somehow helps with it (speaking wise, still have no idea how tones work…) The characters are the only thing I’m struggling with

 By losing it, do you mean you’re forgetting the words or … ? Either way tho, it’s nice to relearn things in a sense, if you roll that way! :woman_shrugging:

Characters were the death of me xD there’s way too much jumbled up in my head rn Makes me regret to learning all I could when I was younger :sob:

Yeah, I can understand the majority just fine, read it fluently (my writing is crap) but it’s just very hard to harness the words and their meanings, you know?

Omg, yes, there are really so many
