It’s a piece that represents some of the worst things man has done to man. It’s not really meant to be listened to with enjoymeny.

Back then, getting out of school meant you were shipped off to war, way too often. My dad graduated in '79, so he missed it by his highschool career, but he had older brothers, and summer wasn’t all fun under the draft.

Ooo, this looks new to me! Gonna check it out!

Enjoy. For me, this is perfect garden grill/beach party music.
Or when you’re getting… you know… wasted.

I’m surprised I haven’t seen any beach boys - since you mentioned the beach, haha

Beachboys can be shrill, so you have to like high-pitched music. I like them better than most shrill bands.

Looking at their popular list, I know about every single one, and my dad was born in '60, and I in '81. I was little for the end of their popularity.

I feel like I know that one beach boys song everyone knows

I was more into Elvira, if I had to pick that era, lol. (Home Free and Oak Ridge Boys together).

I thought you meant this Elvira

They are associated by everyone of that era, but came about independently.

They said in one live performance that they hated that song for years, but it alone bought every single band member a house. Now that they are ancient, they love that they can still get a crowd with that song. I’d watch octegenarians nearly break a hip, if it’s that song, or something of a similar level.
