What do you think about these writerly advices I've been told before?

The characters were, Henry, Valerie, and Mordecai. The writer pointed out Valerie isn’t a real Victorian Era name and that I should change it. But…it’s fantasy, so I didn’t

Valerie doesn’t even stand out from those lol, i wouldn’t change it either. Maybe if you were writing historical fiction and the accuracy of the names mattered. But you’re not so it doesn’t
