What have you been reading? (or had been reading?)

Of course, it is, cause YAY CAPITALISM! YAY GAYS! YAY EXPLOITATION! At this point, Pride Month is becoming that way. It’s all about money > allyship. Exploitation.

Yup, I totally agree with you–it’s all about capitalizing on gays and exploiting them to make money. (ノ_<、)ヾ(´▽`)

Have you ever read Red, White and Royal Blue ? I thought it had such a good premise, but the execution was just awful. Everyone else thought it was amazing, though, so maybe it’s just me…? ¯\_(ﭢ)_/¯

It’s the same with any other minority week/month. I remember when BLM was hot. Instead of helping Black People, and bridging gaps, it was all about commercialism in my emails. And some “protests” even ruined Black Businesses in some cities as well.

I tried to and I tried Casey’s lesbian novel (One Last Stop) but it’s all so long, drawn-out, and good for putting you to sleep. The book could easily have been 250 pages long or less and still worked. I did not find the characters that interesting as well.

I would not recommend it, everyone speaks the same and there’s a lot of pointless fluff. Can’t say that I felt anything other than apathy towards the characters.

I liked the prince, but the president’s son was annoying. (-᷅_-᷄๑)

Whenever people list books they’ve read, I seem to get an entire list of books I never knew existed XD Maybe we read different genres or something, idk.

How was this book? :

Also, hey! China Mieville.

At last, an author I recognize! I’ve been debating buying Perdido Street Station. Have you read that one?

It’s good.
