The 9 year old likes helping?
She does! Which helps me a lot. I mean she can’t do most things but she can help pick stuff up or grab me something lol
She does help with dinner or keep the two year old entertained if the NB needs my direct attention

I like the planning part, before I have an actual story: just info-dumping everything about the characters and the world onto a google doc.
I also like the parts that don’t involve writing, like making the covers and the graphics.

Jk. I really like when a scene I have in my mind comes out (almost) perfectly on paper. The satisfaction of seeing the scenario play out just like how I imagined is great.
Outlining and Worldbuilding. It’s just so satisfying when the pieces all click together, and now you’re impatient to actually write it. And also satisfying when you learn and discover new things about the world randomly, and it just makes that world more real to you!
