I couldn’t finish Alien Isolation because I was too scared. Literally the only video game I’ve had that problem with! I’ve played lots of horror including Silent Hill and Resident Evil 
Alien Isolation is such a good game. Love that they gave it a VHS Tape filter to make it more dark and grainy looking as well!

My favorite video game of all time is Fallout: New Vegas!

Quite a few of them are niche! Also all the Star Wars ones are from the early 2000’s, so they are probably mostly forgotten to time unless one grew up playing them.

I only played the now games
If there is one on my list that you’d probably like, I would say Gnosia.
It’s a visual novel (like DDLC) and somehow manages to play like a single player Among Us.
It has a pretty neat story and great characters. It’s one of those games that its best to know less about it if you intend to play!

Oh? What is it about?
It’s set on a spaceship and you are one of the crew. You find out that there is an alien on board called the Gnosia whose goal is to kill off the rest of the crew.
You want to try to figure out who the Gnosia is. Sometimes it is super obvious but the hard part is convincing the rest of the crew during the voting process!
You get stat points that you can use to level up skills that make it easier to convince the crew. The skills and stat points carryover between playthroughs.
There are different roles you can unlock and play the more games you do.
The Gnosia is random each time and more characters appear the more you play as well (eventually you get to edit the settings for each game).
It gets really chaotic and fun!

I’m a big alien franchise fan (if you couldn’t tell by my pfp) so I loved that game. But I only had it on game pass for a month and that was not long enough for me to finish it. It was definitely a difficult game. But fun, and thoroughly terrifying.

I love GoldenEye. I actually played it for the first time in at least 15 years; last year when it finally got ported to Xbox One and was able to beat that stupid level where you have to protect Natalya at the computer (think it was called Control).
I could never beat that as a kid, even with a Gameshark. It was so vindicating to finally achieve that!

I think you can get a disc of it for about $10. I do see it go on sale digitally for around that price a lot too!
Dunno how viable that is for you, but it’s a steal for that price! Especially if you get the version with the DLC included!

Goldeneye is around 30 years old at this point 
For that matter, Alien Isolation is around 10 years old now.
