Ahahah I just looked it up myself!
I mean, originally i wasnt going to use the Dark Contient (a land that has vanished on Lyriumia) as anything other than folklaw but then i made it the main setting for one of the books sooooooooo yah
So, it convinced you, huh?
Will it be getting more books?
Doubtful. It only really makes sense for the one story
No, I can’t say I am, but I always thuoght mahjong seemed weird
But theoretically the reader could find out some other way?
Yeah, I have a bit written down for a type of living-dead, that has never appeared in the story in more than a mention that someone doesn’t think they exist
Yeah, I think it’s good to collect ideas even if not all of them are used, because some of them will
Nope.
That being said, I haven’t decided if I’ll write a story where it hints at the Chief Guardian’s true role.
Your gut feeling is correct.
Hmmm I can’t think of a lot of world-building things off the top of my head, but I’m sure there’s LOTS of stuff lol.
Ghosts’ internal body temperature is about 30F.
The Afterlife average air temperature is never higher than 45F.
The water isn’t saltwater or freshwater. It’s…something else lol. It also tastes kinda sweet.
You know how human blood smells kinda metallic? Ghost blood smells like ozone.
Long ago there was probably a great ghost war that killed off a lot of ancient ghosts, which is why you don’t see a lot of them around anymore. (I just made that one up lol).
S’all I got right now lol.
I have so many tiny character details, however, that are never ever gonna be brought up in the story though.
Maybe it’s the lost good memories of the ghosts that died?
Sounds possible considering Ah-hur.
I just wonder why ghosts aren’t going around screeching:
The buildings of the cities in my realms are made of a compound called “starcrust.”
They also use elements of it to build their weapons because it’s the only compound strong enough to break immortal skin.
Nice… there’s a lot that stays in the background of my stories…
Like my main character actually as hearing loss in one of his ears due to a tragic event in his childhood. However with supernatural hearing, it’s not really worth mentioning, because even with a scarred eardrum, he still has better hearing than humans do.
The event is in the first book of the series, but I really don’t mention it at any other point in the story.
