Winter Woods II; Chat and Relax

It is. That’s why we kept on doing it

Eee it’s due next Friday, but the actual speech giving isn’t until June 24 when we graduate. They pushed it back because schools aren’t open yet.

:joy: People sometimes comment on how it sounds like a song because there are so many tones.

Honestly, I forgot, it was slowly and was more on form than really ‘fighting’ in a sense

It’s a book series XD

Well, that’s another way :joy:

No problem:)

I’m not very good at explaining things so I try to over simplify it as much as possible XD

:eyes::eyes:

I was the one that would try to choke and fight the boys in 1st grade, one reason every single boy in my school avoided me…

I love you explain it as “oomph” lol

One of our games left me with small wounds. I don’t know if you know but there’s like this broom made of long, thin, wooden sticks that’s usually used when fixing your bed? So what we did was grab one of those long wooden sticks and use that as a sword. It was fun. Got a few marks on my arm but it was worth it :joy:

Oh wow. On the other hand I was the one who was (best) friends with the boys. I don’t know why, but we just clicked.

And also the girls bullied me in primary school so that’s why I hung out with the guys :woman_shrugging:

That’s really nice, I tried making guy friends once in a while but they always left or just stopped being friends with me

Aww, I was seen as masculine to the girls so none of them hung out with me (except for this one really nice girl who I’m friends with now)

Ohhhh those. Haha nice! Those kinds of games are the best.

The one game that I ‘inflicted’ injuries on my friends was when they were playing Operation. Basically where they pretend to be cutting you open and they tickle you as hard as possible. Back then, I hated being tickled so it didn’t go well when they all tried to do it on me :speak_no_evil: Some of them ended up with scratches on them

Oop- I had nightmares of being tickled… those are scary

 the good ol’ sadistic days lolol
(lol maybe this was why the boys were afraid of me xD)

Oooh, as in the actual building?

I wanna listen now-
(brb~)

Yeah, but only our class is allowed. We’re doing it in the gym.

Ahaha all right. Might depend on the phrase though.

Same here. Granted I did end up making female friends, and some of those who bullied me ended up apologizing.

I’m so masculine as a girl that some people mistook me as a guy when I spoke. I was in the car on the way home when my mom called and I picked up my phone. I was like “hello?”

My mom was like “who’s that?” in an aggressive voice.

“What do you mean?”

“I heard a man just now.”

“Mom that was me” :sob: I was still in seventh or eighth grade, I think!

:joy: I can sort of relate to that. When I spoke to my grandmother on the phone she thought I was my brother (he has a deepish voice).

You know how you can set up Siri on your iPhone so that it activates when you say “Hey Siri?”

I managed to do that on my brother’s phone, with his voice registered.

I’m that low-voiced :joy: in seventh grade our science teacher talked about how girls have a higher-pitched voice, one of the guys was like “but (insert my name here)’s voice is low”

Yeah, it is. And according to a friend, it got lower :joy:

Ahh I’m jealous XD

Omg poor you :joy:

Niiice. You could totally frame him for things :eyes:

Whoops! xD My voice can go low or high but when I talk quietly it’s mostly low.

Oh yeah, going off of this, do any of you ever have relatives that keep telling you to be more ‘ladylike’ or whatever? I kept having that happen when I was little. :joy: I was so unladylike as a child since I ran around like crazy and kept climbing things and sat in weird positions and had my hair all over my face. xD My aunt kept telling me to stop acting like a boy and she kept trying to buy me girly things like hair bands and clips and stuff. Those were uncomfortable. Bleh, every time I saw her I would tremble. :joy:

Eh, not really. I don’t remember any family member telling me to be ladylike  I only remember my parents teaching me manners, but they’re not gender specific.

However, I do remember when my mom used to give me pink things when I was a kid because, you know, pink is for girls. The next thing she knew, my younger brother started liking pink things. She then purged the house of pink :joy:

Ah, lucky you. My relatives were all extremely fussy. I guess it might be because nearly all my cousins (near and distant) were boys and they grew sick of it.

That’s hilarious! Ohhhh this reminds me of that one time when I had this collection of Barbies people gave me and my brother was obsessed with the colour orange. He saw that one of them had an orange dress and he just took it. xD And another time, someone wanted to bring me to paint nails and my brother tagged along. And guess what, he got orange nails. :joy:

Yes! It was always my mom and my aunts telling me this and I would be so confused because I thought it was normal. I kept thinking “why do boys do this but I can’t do that?” But I was too scared to say it aloud so I kept it to myself

I was pretty energetic and would bite people a lot, but I guess I calmed down now

Those are the worst! I remember getting a set of one of those overly obnoxious girl pajamas for Christmas and almost cried…
