But like- I don’t even think I could get in to college… and it’s not like you’ve seen my test grades…

Okay, fair, I haven’t seen your test grades, but I am 100% sure you can get into college. You have so many years to prep! And besides. Okay, I’ll be brutally honest, I’ve seen the stupid kids in my school still managing to get into universities. When I mean stupid, I mean actually-got-failing-grades-below-a-C stupid. And they still got a chance.

If those stupid people who failed classes can get into college, how much more you, who actually managed to get straight As at one point? And you’re not even in high school. When I applied to college, they didn’t even look at my middle school grades. You have high school to build yourself up for college, and they don’t just care about grades. Even if you do fail at one point, just showing that you’re progressing can be enough for them to accept you.

TL;DR you are smart and can get into college because I’ve seen actual stupid people still make it into college
