well, at least I’ve managed to type up my notes, and I’m nearly at 75k 
only the last two chapters left, to tie up everything with a bow

I’m at 49,400 for the month. 38,452 on my current wip which will probably wrap up around 60k words finished. Am crazy proud because I really genuinely didn’t think this would be possible.

the last chapter 
wordcount isn’t very relevant, as there’s lots of nonsense I need to cut out in draft 2, but I’m pretty pleased it’s come up to 40 chapters, because the halfway point is EXACTLY in chapter 20 time to put the bow on and set up book 3…

I might not have beaten my word dragon (as you can see from my gooey singed skin) but at least I started something and wrote as much as I could 
I laid down a foundation for an idea, and that’s good. It’s made me want to write more! I gave it my best shot, and all has turned out well.

I’m finishing the challenge with 52,906 words. Not bad, and more than I ever got with NaNo. We’ll have to do this again next year. It was fun! ( ˆ◡ˆ)۶ ٩(˘◡˘ )

Definitely will be doing it again next year. I had some things to think about around what I’d like to do differently, and what I’d like to do more of if possible.

As evidenced by my soot-covered face, I did not beat my word dragon, but did make some significant progress this month ^ _ ^ I’d say my word count ended at 4.5k new words?
I’ll do my best to squeeze out as much writing as possible before the day ends here

This part!! 
But also this part I don’t think I’ve ever really committed to a “challenge” like this (except maybe ONC on WP? but even that I only finished it once lol), and it really helped get my butt in gear. I’ll admit it was also a bit annoying and frustrating at times and taking up a lot of brain space…but if I hadn’t pushed through, I think this draft would have wallowed in development hell
