I don’t feel ready but I want/need to pull myself together, writing-wise and not only 
I haven’t even finished my re-read 
But maybe the pressure of accountability will help me power through it this weekend without stopping to nitpick every single sentence. At this point line edits are distracting and wasting my time. I’m gonna just try and leave little notes for myself in places where I think the writing comes off weird, and I’ll revisit them later.
Topic: November has begun! How are ya?
I started writing last night and then I couldn’t sleep, so, no more coffee at night, but I had to get the first few chapters in 
My goal is to write 50k, but my aim is to speed this thing because I have a bunch of things going on in November per usual.
I’ve written 50k in two weeks before.
I wanna see if I can do it again.
If I write around 3500 a day, I can finish in two weeks
Day 1: 6000
I usually write like a maniac the first few days of a challenge because I’ve got pent up pantser energy, so don’t mind this number

I am currently 25 chapters in, at around 52k words. there’s been some juicy drama, and tomorrow I shall review my notes for what I was planning to do next.
also, fun fact of the day is that brunch was first invented in 1895 honestly, if it weren’t for the lack of smartphones/internet/TVs/phones, my 1895 story could almost pass for a contemporary one I even introduced one of the first automobiles!
It’s 7:15 pm where I am now, and I managed to write 2022 words today. For me that’s a lot for just one day as I’m a very slow writer, and much of the credit goes to the halloween candy I’m sugared up on right now. ☜(ˆ▿ˆc)

I found a torture album I have to listen to if I don’t write fast enough or enough. So far, two songs in 
oh hey i remembered it was november 1st today at like 1pm and then didn’t write until 9pm (in my defense i had to do chores first).
I intended to draft something new, as per usual, but I haven’t worked on my current wip since September so I guess I’m doing that instead. But it’s fine because (I think I’ve talked about this here before?) the zero draft of this wip is unusable so I’m basically writing the whole thing from scratch anyway.
I got 404 words in today 
I was at work + special family dinner yesterday, so no writing done
The plan is to get started today
