Well, first I’d have to have friends to go with 
I’d probs pack what I always pack whenever I travel (writing stuff, books, etc). Where would I like to be? Preferably somewhere close to home so I can actually get there in the first place Honestly got NO idea what I’d put in my writer bag or what I’d do on the first days. Never actually made it to a book / writer convention (unless you count the tri-yearly secondhand book sale for charity thing we have)

The fun thing about this scenario is you can be as creative as you want to be.
I understand you never been to one or possibly a convention ever, but you can Google what a convention is typically like then form creative ideas for a book and writer convention.
