My dream computer right now is a raspberry pi that runs Windows XP or Linux.
Omg, look at that ancient stuff XD
Why Pi?
Haha is it? I feel old! I remember Win 98 from when I was a kid.
open source
You really like to do things the hard way, huh?
It has a very different feel from any laptop you can get from a store.
I’ve played with Linux before, and it’s good for older machines.
Nope! Never even heard of it, but I’m over my fear of depressing stories now. I’ve even decided to write one for NaNo next month! (*^-‘) 乃
Then you should definitely read it! It was a 4.5 out of 5 for me. Apparently, there’s a sequel, but it’s fine as a standalone.
Ooohh, nice. Care to share what it’s about?
Same XD
I remember when the little hourglass was stuck to the mouse or how the page loading bar was so slow. Or how the mouse would lag.
Ah, the good old days
I’m thinking enemies to lovers gay romance in the 1700s between a prince and a commoner, or maybe a nobleman of some sort…one mc is the son of an anarchist who murders the father of the other. At the end the one is banished, so the other follows him into exile. Need to think up more of a plot before November, methinks. (♯^.^ღ)
Is there going to be any magic? Or is it going to be more like a historical romance?
Isn’t the 1700s still the time when kings or princes took on male lovers?
Might be interesting to explore that dynamic. I’ve always wondered what people back in the day really thought of those relationships. Were they really frowned upon or were they more accepted than we think?
Have you figure out what country you’re taking inspiration from?
lol
I relate to that
Yes
LOL
If you’ve seen a movie and then found out it was originally a book, do you go read the book?
Movies that I know are books. I will never read the books.
- Harry Potter
- The Hunger Games (I did read the first one, found it to be boring)
- LOTR (though I do have the first book and it’s not a definite “no” to not read it)
- Any of Stephen King’s books that became movies. Idk. I’m not interesting in reading the books. I like the movies.
If you have read the book and loved it, would you watch the movie? Would you risk it?
Books I know are movies, but I will never watch them:
- The Host and Twilight both by Stephanie Meyer (Twilight books were forced on me when I didn’t know better and when I was a moody teen)
- Inferno by Dan Brown (the book was so good. twists in twists in twists.)
I don’t watch a lot of movies but I do like reading the original material
From the thumbnail, nothing looks familiar
If the movies have not gone to Japan, I likely would have never heard of them.
Do you ever read screenplays?
