I found a workaround: I hooked it up to a dummy repo and told it to not many any changes, then I downloaded the HTML file that required changes to my desktop, then input that to Claude Code. I also put in a few references, and an image of what I want it to look like, and told it to start working on it. I was also straightforward about what I wanted it to do.
The end file I received was so brilliant, I don’t need to make any changes on it.
I have no clue what you said but good job ![]()
Claude Code typically works by connecting to GitHub directly, so it can work not like a tool but like a developer friend. You tell Claude what you want, and it does it automatically and pushes the code to your GitHub repository.
But I use Oracle Git rather than GitHub, so we can’t connect Claude Code to that. But I found the solution in directly adding the file to the chat.
ok
I’m watching a Canadian talk about a Japanese story while hanging out in Spain.
GWAR is Korne Worshipper music.
I feel bad for your YouTube algorithm. Must be extremely confused.
@jj_tesla The target demographic of AI technology.
Wait, I realised something: since I work on AI, I’m technically a father of AI.
Actually, no, that’s John McCarthy, and Geoffrey Hinton is the godfather of AI, and Alan Turing is the AI’s… momma? What word’s trending in the LGBT sphere for male gay parents? Like how you might have the ‘queen of theatre’?
So I’m the stepfather of AI? Or maybe its distant uncle.
And these people are AI bros, so like the brothers of AI. So they’re also my nephews.
I’m disappointed in them.
Also, I found out the YouTuber Wifies is way younger than me. Like way younger, barely a week older than my little brother.
AI farmer maybe
That sounds like it’d be a good game.
From AI farmer, going off a tangent: there was this game called Infinite Kitchen, where you had an AI and a very long list of ingredients, and you could mix whatever you want with whatever, and the AI told you what you created. I loved that game because it allowed me to create the nine-spice blend I create IRL.
But now they’ve gamified it a lot so it’s not fun anymore. The game has a management system now, and you slowly unlock ingredients. That just ruined my day. I don’t object to a management system game, but I wish they added a sandbox system where you could make whatever you wanted, and had access to all the ingredients and .
I’m thinking of starting a trend: making some food in that AI and then cooking it IRL. I did it for the first two things, but I need them to add a sandbox mode before I can get to the others on this list.
@LadyOfTheRiver I have a question: do Russians generally have high spice tolerance or low?
And what about Germans?
Like if I was about to come over and cook for you guys, would you be loving it or sweating and crying like your cat died?
I would by crying my ass off. It varies bc some people eat raw onion and garlic by the spoonful and we have a lot of spicy food too, but it’s not as intense as Indian food lol.
Germans are the same. Must my gf is different because she trained herself lol.
Got it, I’ll tone down the spices.
I can also eat raw onions and garlic. I’d often eat the yellow part of the onion because it tastes the best.
Time to pick a really obscure song for my main character’s theme music lol
