I’m going to create a goal for myself. I’m going to create a YouTube channel focusing on my love for reading manga and Webtoons. This is going to be a channel where I review the content and give my own opinions on what I like about it and how it made me feel reading it.
I am not so gifted at giving reviews, but I can at least share how the reading process made me feel with others.
Though it does have me a tad nervous.

You’re not planning to monetize, are you? If you do, it’ll become high pressure and you’d have to post like every day for a while, and post something under every tab so the viewers know you’re engaged and all that. But I say just do it for fun! Don’t pressure yourself like that or you’ll burn out, and it’s so competitive these days anyway, especially with Google sabotaging everyone now with excessive ads so they’re probably losing viewers, while the number of content creators increases thanks to AI-generated content. Enshittification is real and Google is trying to win the race to the bottom. (-᷅_-᷄๑)

I’ve considered this too, but chickened out because I didn’t want to put myself on the internet like that. Though in my case, I’d be doing something more work related rather than hobby related. The stress of thinking about content is also a big part so I’m sticking to blogging and social media for now. My husband does live streams on Twitch, but he doesn’t monetize. He has like 100 followers. I can’t do what he does. Play a game and conversate with people. I’d def be that person that’s like, “Shut it, I’m watching a cutscene!” to the chat.
