As a long-time writer with a story graveyard a mile high I’ve made it my goal this year to finish a rough draft of a book before 2025. To do this I want to form a little writing support group here if anyone is interested. To have a chill, long haul alternative to NaNoWriMo group rather than a community just for a month.

Currently the big goal is to get through the rising action portion of my story by the end of the month. It’s going to be the hardest bit for me because my favorite character won’t fully show up until a few chapters in. This will really be the muscling through it portion.
In essence, it follows a young woman named Eliza who is suddenly killed in a hit and run. She is unable to rest due to ‘unfinished business’ and is risen from death by a necromancer. She quickly finds the body she’s in may look like hers, but she is no longer human and no longer in the world she knows. That she has more or less been put inside something akin to the fantasy novels she reads. Though, prince charming isn’t all that charming and the villain may be her only hope.
Your story idea definitely sounds interesting! I’d be curious to read it. I’d also be interested in being part of a writing support group like this, though I’m going to be starting the third draft of my book soon, so I don’t know if I’d fit in. I’ve never published before, but I’m further along in the proccess than a first draft. If that’s ok, I’d still like to join in this.
My MAIN project is about a reggaeton musician called Jose who gets caught cheating on his fake girlfriend with a man at a bar by her friend. She takes a picture, and Jose tries to hide his face and it starts speculation about him, and then his life starts to unravel and secrets happen.
Honestly, I was able to complete my goal of finishing a novel. Now, I just want to finish this series and MAYBE think seriously about publishing.
Aeris works as a Knight for the Knighthood Union Alliance (a global organization for the people by the people with the Saints and Firstlings permission) whose desire is to take on a mission to fix her past mistakes as a Knight, along with locating her father who vanished from her life while they were fleeing from the people trying to kill them. However, during the mission where Aeris has to learn about what is really going down in the Kingdom of Roshland with the Thornwood Dynasty and the Succession Trials and more. However things take a bizarre turn when Aeris accidentally summons a Saint thus revealing her royal heritage that she never knew about, causing her to win the Succession Trials and to become the new empress who bring the dynasty together as as whole, then forming a new empire to reign. Yet Aeris is still a Knight with a job to do and that hasn’t changed the moment she learns about being a royal heir, forcing her to tackle two roles. The role of an empress and a Knight. So, Aeris has to unravel what it means to be a Thornwood, the mystery behind the Succession Trials, and the secrets that lie deep in the dynasty smothered by scandals, lies deceit, and death. Her will and resolve are going to be tested and she has to make a choice ultimately, to form a nation or search for the truth or both?
Aeris is a hybrid heiress. Her mother is a Thornwood Princess while her father is a Kriegman heir. The Kriegman Clan is a sub-branch of the Thornwood Dynasty. She is also a mixed Tirron, which means she is a magical vampire of sorts.
Like a couple other people have said, I also finished a few stories, and would also like to finish a series. Also, to get enough motivation to start posting on Wattpad.

The plot “offically” began in my most recent chapter at the time of posting this, when one of the patrols gets ambushed by rogues. One of the cats on the patrol, Wolfbee, gets kicked off a cliff. The rogues flee, and the rest of the patrol returns to camp to report what happened. However, Wolfbee didn’t end up in StarClan or the Dark Forest, and the chapter ends with him trying to figure out where he is.

Summary
Wolfbee is a black cat with yellow eyes, and short fur. He was born in OakClan. He has two sisters, Ternblossom and Featherwhisker. His best friend is Poppycloud, and he has a crush on a cat named Weaselfall.
This sounds like a fun and helpful idea! I’ve been in a bit of a writing slump lately, so this might just end up being the push I am looking for! I’m always down to give some encouragement! Count me in!
My current goal is to have two characters end up on a particular location that is occupied by the antagonist’s forces and have them bond during their time there before sneaking back out. It’s been a bit of a slog for me to figure out how these two characters click together.
My story follows a courier who has to deliver a cannister with something important inside that has potentially deep repercussions and may even be able to bring an end to an interstellar war. Shenanigans happen and the person he was shadowing for work (did I mention it was his first day on the job?) dies without telling him the proper destination or giving him the means to open the container. He ends up aboard a ship of misfits through a series of circumstances and they agree to try and help reach his unknown destination while they are hounded by an antagonistic force of space-faring Fairies.

Dang! Every time I hear about this it sounds cooler lol. Where do you get all these names and stuff from? I’ve always struggled with the fantasy names and naming palaces and stuff. And what kind of magic are we working with here?
Heck yeah get that series! You know, my first thought about warrior cats is omg kittttiessss so cute then I always get reminded about how friggin dark they are lol. I’m afraid I never got into the books. Sounds cool though, you got dis.
Dudddee you make music? That sickkk! I love it. It makes me think of that moment in a game when the character means buisness and theyre prepping for conflict if that makes sense? Very cool.
Yeah Im really not loving trying to get in the story. Like im not feeling the beginning third of it and its like i really like my characters so im trying to tough it up and get there. But i might just have to skip ahead to when my favorites show up.
