lol, that’s a very specific question XD Nope. Not that I know of.
YES and currently Bethany and friends are at the Fogforn Ruins which used to belong to a family of rats loyal to the royal rats. There’s even an old statue of the Mosspetal queen rat in the ruins.
They don’t have that kind of belief. They just believe that when Wodeland came to be, so became the rats. And even in my lore outside of their knowledge, there are no deities.
It would just be Earth XD Talking animals would no longer talk. Avians won’t be able to fly, but it’s not like they can’t learn to be human. Magick isn’t essential to everyday life. It’s like a nice addition. Also, the rats won’t be able to turn into humans. Bethany might not like it, but I’m sure she can adapt.
There is a lot of superstition regarding the Fogforn Ruins. The Rat King previously ransacked the place. Many Avians and humans fear that place, believing it to be cursed, haunted, a place where you go and never return, and when they have to go there, a lot of the soldiers actually protest against their princes which is something they wouldn’t normally do.
You know what? They probably do That’s why the Rat King has to keep sucking souls. That’s probably how everything is maintained. And the soul sucking makes it more powerful.
Okay, now that’s definitely reminding me of Hercules
Why doesn’t the Moon Goddess raise Stilkilaaf herself? (after you answer this question, I’m moving all questions to my Elgana thread, so hop on over there)
You could do what happens in a lot of mythology. Take a leg or arm from a lover, and…tadaa! A child. Mix and mash some guts… tadaaaa! Child. Cut off his finger to create a son. Throw an enemy corpse into the ocean and let the blood seep into the water…daughters are born!
What’s been your favorite part of writing the story? Your least favorite part?
Also fair–multiple threads is difficult to manage lol
Well the Moon Goddess gets chased off a second time by the Sun Goddess so
True–I’ll probably wind up doing something like that but haven’t fleshed it out because I’m too busy focusing on the weird islanders who have connections directly to the Sun Goddess.
